Great food! Had a rice bowl on both visits. Good food and nice friendly staff. Can’t wait to try the oxtail… the owner highly recommends it. I hope they get an ABC license.

Great, quick lunch. Red beans and rice are different than New Orleans style, no gravy, but very tasty. Be sure to ask for the house-​made Scotch Bonnet sauce.

I have traveled the Southeast and eat Jerk chicken whenever I can. The Jerk chicken here is the best I have ever had.

This food is just okay. I ordered jerk chicken and curry chicken. Neither tasted like what I am used to and I eat jamaican food in every city I visit. The jerk chicken tasted like commercial jerk chicken seasoning, not homemade. There also was no char to the chicken, I think it was cooked in the oven. I compared it to my standby, Cliffs, and 876 is more expensive with smaller portions that don’t taste as traditional as I’m used to. The good thing about 876 is they are a full restaurant though I’ve only gotten takeout. 876 also had a number of homemade desserts that looked tasty.

Warm friendly atmosphere in this lovely gem of a restaurant tucked in a strip mall next to the RAC on Starkey Rd. I just had the jerked chicken bowl with red beans and rice and tomatoes. A delicious mix of mildly spicy exotic flavors blended expertly into a savory and thoroughly enjoyable mix. If you’re looking for something different in an intimate neighborhood restaurant give this place a try.
