Mike began Varsity in 1993 with one truck and a mower. During the years, he has grown the business to what it is today. Mike has many certifications including ISA Certified Arborist, Certified Stormwater BMP Maintenance Professional, Certified SRW Installer, Certified ICPI Installer, VA Licensed Pesticide Applicator, and a Virginia Responsible Land Disturber. Varsity is a Class A Contractor. Varsity has won many awards including Best of Roanoke, Best of SWoCo, Best of Salem, and Best of Botetourt. Mike’s newest award this year was being recognized as one of twelve finalist for Landscaper of the Year by TLC magazine and Case Equipment.
