History

Established in 2008.

S3 was founded by Martin Sheeks in early 2008, as an effort to provide high quality web presence services to small and mid-​sized businesses at a cost they could afford. Martin was astonished by the lack of affordable web development shops in the twin cities metro, and decided he would put his entrepreneurial and programming skills to task in offering just that.

In 2011, with business picking up, Martin partnered with Jessi Goodell to expand the range of services he could offer. Working with Jessi meant that S3 could offer branding and identity creation and re-​creation services to its clients, as well as high-​quality in house web design.

In early 2013, with Jessi returning to school to complete her degree, Martin brought Nate Eul on board as S3’s active graphic designer. Nate has been working with the company since, and has cranked out some amazing work.

Today, S3’s focus is on maintaining the relationships it has established, and expanding our reach to more local businesses.

I have been working as a professional web developer since 2008. When it comes to web development, I love piecing together a complex project, or just pounding out a simple solution. Aside from computer work, I enjoy alpine skiing, biking, and a good night spent with friends. I also enjoy spending time with my wife, Heidi, and my roommate, Laura. I look forward to working with you on your web site project.
