Torino Pizza

I ordered food for pick up and got there a few min early so I sat in chair and waited. They got a call from another customer complaining that their pizza wasn’t cooked the way they asked. The girl taking the order told the owner right out in front of me, the address of person unhappy and why the person was unhappy. The OWNER said to the girl taking the order «ok f-​ing make a new slip and we’ll bring him a new one». He seemed very aggravated and nasty about it. I told how unprofessional it was of both of them to talk about someone else’s complaints in front of a customer but more importantly how mad he got about the situation and have to curse in front of me and other customer in there. Being that there are other pizza places in town or near by they should really be aware of their horrible ownership and customer service.

Best pizza in Rochelle Park, by far! And they deliver late, so that a nice bonus.

Horrible place. The pizza is disgusting. The sandwiches are never consistent. They are even sometimes raw. The workers have a dismissive attitude towards customers. Very unprofessional and very disgusting atmosphere. Never again and I was always a good customer

The food was tasty and hot, had it delivered, they had a very heavy hand when putting the tomato sauce on the food. I got chicken parm dinner and a side of meatballs. The chicken was not visible under the red liquid and the meatballs stood out like islands in the ocean. Overall the food was tasty and I would go there again.

Had their pizza delivered to a bday party. Pizza was hot, delicious, and on time. Thx guys!

Pizza places lie. They use tantalizing phrases like fast, hot delivery and the pizza arrives slow and cold. Well friends, I am here to say that disappointingly, Torino ruined the stereotype. Pizza arrived piping hot in less time than they said it would. Was also really good. Friendly over the phone and congenial delivery guy, too. Thank you. We shall return!

I get the Caesar salad and it is always worth the money. They give you a lot of chicken and the dressing it really good.

I grabbed their $ 5.00 special while waiting for a local appointment. Two slices and a small coke. Not bad. Standard fare, Nothing to write home about. I guess they’re good in a pinch if you happen to be in the area.

Sad to say, the food here isn’t good.
Everyone here is ridiculously nice and accommodating with pleasant smiles, but I really can’t get past the food.
I had their ‘roasty mushroom sub” which has roast beef in gravy +mushrooms but it was DRY. How can a sandwich drenched in gravy taste dry? I had to pick around the dry pieces of meat and essentially dissected my sandwich apart.
The garlic knots are okay (3 stars).
I had high hopes for this place. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t come back for the food.

Love the new ownership, I love there buffalo pizza! Alot of these negative reviews are from previous «Torinos» owner but they have a new owner and it’s alot better then before!

We ordered 3 things and 2 of them were wrong — one plain pie didn’t come and our salami and provolone hero was made up mostly of ham (of which we didn’t want any). The order which did arrive was very expensive ($ 24 for the hero and one other pie).
The pizza tasted ok and the delivery time was very fast. The customer service seemed friendly. It was nice that they opened at 11am.

Great food and amazing customer service! I stopped in with my 2 year old son to grab something quick. We loved the margarita pizza! As a Jersey Girl living in California, I really miss good pizza. Everyone was super friendly. They even went the extra mile to change the TV from a Baseball game to cartoons so my little guy was entertained while we were there.

I would have given this place 3 and a quarter stars. If you go there get the 2 pizza special. It is the best deal on pizza around and most of the time the pizza is great. Rarely the pizza is a little sub par but most places never get it right every single time. If you don’t get the special do NOT get a slice because the single slices sit there awhile and are not good. Make sure to get something that is made to order. Also they don’t accept the coupons they advertise, which is pretty irritating.

I came here three times. The first time I tried the veggie pizza and it was okay 3 stars at most. Then, I came in to try their Greek Salad (2.5 stars) and it wasn’t very good at all. Too sour (too much vinegar or lemon??), the lettuce wasn’t green and barely any tomatoes or cucumbers. The grilled chicken I choose to throw into it was good and hearty but this is a Greek salad not a Caesar salad. Also, for nearly $ 10, it was overpriced. At least the side of bread was delicious. It was a shame I had to leave most of it as it amounted to just sour lettuce after I gulfed down the tomato, feta, olives that make a Greek Salad worth it in the first place. Perhaps, if they added arugula or spinach instead of lettuce, the salad would be better and reduce the vinegar or lemon they add?
At this point, I was hesitant to come back but the staff is very friendly and since it’s the one of the only few places around work that I can walk to grab a quick bite, I decided to return, in my mind, asking if they had something similar to a stuffed spinach pizza. Well, I looked around and voila, I found a stuffed spinach pizza! I was shocked. I decided to order it.
An employee asked me to let them know what I thought about their stuffed spinach pizza because it’s a new recipe and I said I would at some point. The stuffing itself is perfect, actually it tastes just like homemade spinach and cheese stuffing. Good job on the dill and feta cheese! Absolutely amazing. The crust needs improvement though because you can’t hold the pizza without the dough flying in your face (it’s not attached to the stuffing) and the dough is rather crunchy but it’s still good (at least not burnt or too dry).
Their restaurant is more like 3 stars but since their stuffed Spinach pizza is the da bomb, I thought I would raise it to 4 stars. Also, the staff is friendly and accommodating — and they once played Galaxy Quest on their TV! I will probably special order a stuffed spinach pie at some point.

I’d have to agree with other reviewers; the recipe for their pizza has changed. While the crust is supremely crunchy, there isn’t much to go on as far as flavor is concerned. The sauce is very light and the cheese doesn’t really translate.
I tried their regular slice and their mushroom slice and neither slice was particularly good. A little more sauce would have helped. I did enjoy the texture however, so not all is lost. The dining room remains the same and it can be a little tight if you come with a large group. Parking may or may not be a problem depending how busy Ted’s or Dunkin’ Donuts gets for lunch.
I would suggest Angelo’s in Maywood or even Papa Razzi’s at the Plaza for better pizza.

Not bad. Not great. I’ve ordered from here a number of times just to get my pizza fix. No complaints as far as pizza goes. They have a surprisingly wide variety of sandwiches, but the couple that I’ve tried are pretty bland. Not a fan of the vegetable soup either. The staff is very pleasant though.

I frequented Linwood Pizza for over 10 years. At one point due to a work situation, I was visiting Linwood every other Saturday (this lasted for at least 5 of those years). I loved the specialty pizzas.
In particular the Buffalo Chicken pizza was amazing. Chunks of breaded chicken doused in sauce on a pie with mozzarella, dollops of blue cheese dressing and pieces of celery. Other specialty pies that I really enjoyed were the Eggplant Parm (thin, crispy breaded strips of eggplant with ricotta dollops) and the BBQ Chicken.
Today I was in the area and stopped by and saw Torino Pizza had takend it’s place. I did a quick scan and was relieved that the old menu seemed intact. I went in and ordered a Buffalo Chicken slice and a Dom Pomodoro (was never sure what this type of slice was, but I always liked it!) slice. The Buffalo slice didn’t have celery, barely any chicken and barely any hot sauce. And something was wrong with the crust on both of them. Undercooked maybe? Awful new recipe?
Never again!

Other than being called «ma’am» twice, I was fairly pleased with Torino’s on my first trip.
I picked up a couple slices here (so I can’t address the delivery issue experienced by Gia R.). They warmed the generously-​sized plain and ziti slices in the oven for an appropriate amount of time, and bagged them for me to go. I thought the pizza was fairly good. Although the crust did not have a lot of flavor, the texture was chewy and wonderful — I actually ate the crust!
This is not great pizza, but I would have it again. The staff was friendly and efficient, although I was there on a Weds night and there was only one other patron in the place. I’ll probably give it another shot.

I used to eat here all the time when it was Linwood Pizza. When it first changed hands the new people said they were keeping everything the same and for a while it was. I was out of town for two months and upon my return I ordered a ziti pie (my daughter’s favorite) for delivery. It was supposed to come in 30 minutes and it took over an hour. The pizza was totally different than it used to be. Linwood had really tasty crust with a nice chewy texture and this crust was overly crunchy and dried out. There was very little sauce and cheese. It seems like they are trying to cut costs by putting less on the pizza. I’m sorely disappointed and will not go back. I’ll just have to go to Fort Lee to the original Linwood Pizza to get my ziti pie from now on.
