45 Euclid

45 Euclid is the best spot for house and techno events in Rochester. The manager, Tommie, is the best in the game. He is extremely friendly and accommodating to promoters bringing in events, and goes out of his way to make sure every event is the best it can be.
The location is perfectly situated in a pocket at the end of Euclid Street. There is plenty of parking on the street or in the lot next door. The venue is able to go until 4 (or later), which is a rarity here. The bar may shut down at 2, but if you want your music to go all night then this is the place to go.
The drinks are cheap, but not cheaply made. Fair pricing and great value sums it up. A lot of great global talent has swung through here (Eric Cloutier (Detroit/​Berlin/​NYC), Norm Talley (Detroit), and an upcoming show with The Black Madonna (Chicago). There is no dress code, just come as yourself and enjoy the music.

Dark, loud, dance floor… check please! I went for a 6 hour DJ set/​techno party. It was so much fun! The bar was clean, the bathrooms were a plenty (2 each) and the bartenders were happy and sweet! Kinda cold in there so dress in layers, especially if you’re going to dance so you can take some off. One of my best nights out in a long time.

Love has easily become one of my fave clubs in Rochester. It’s a little out of the way compared to the other clubs in the city, but that also means you don’t have to deal with the chaos that is east ave. Its still only about a $ 5 cab ride from that area though, so easily manageable.
Finding parking has never been a problem. They have some street parking right out front and around the corner. There’s also a lot super close that’s only a buck or two to park in.
The club itself is nice inside, and they’ve done a really good job with the lighting. There’s always something glowing to stare at, which is fun. There’s a lot of space to dance, as well as a bench to sit on right behind the dance floor. They also have a few booths where you’re able to get bottle service.
The staff is super laid back, and I’ve never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to get a drink at the bar. Drinks are pretty decent, and are on par with most club prices. They have some pretty good specials though, such as a 2 for 1 specialty drink night, I highly recommend the American beauty.
This place has never had that «stuck up» vibe that you can sometimes get at other clubs. Around 2am, the crowd starts to get pretty eclectic, as people are starting to pop in from other bars. It’s cool to see such a mix of people all hanging out and having a good time together. I’ve never seen any real issues (such as fights) go down while I was here.

Had a really great time — loved the wide open dance floor and comfortable booths. Bartender helped me come up with the perfect flavored cosmopolitan. V
