I’m not sure what is so «beyond» about anything bed or bath related but this location certainly does deliver on all accounts of it’s bedding & bath supplies. I didn’t really expect this coming from it’s mall location but on the other hand, the selection isn’t really all that that I’m making it out to be. As I mentioned before, this store is part of the Greece mall and is thus, small as a result of it. The selection for both bedding and bathing is quite limited compared other stores in the area. However, I’ll give them credit that because this store is small, they keep it in terrific shape. All the times I have came here, the shelves and displays were organized so cleanly, you would think that no one even shops here. The benefit to this is that it is easy to find what you are looking for without any problems no matter if its a curtain or a clock. You can enter this store through two ways, either from the mall interior or from the exterior which happens to be located right next to a former Circuit City complex. If you have trouble finding the entrance to Bed Bath & Beyond, just look for the decaying red and grey building. Even though the selection is limited, the organization and cleanliness really makes the store seem full and beaming with new products. I’m not sure what to make of it but it does make the shopping experience pleasurable. Sadly, it does fall apart when it comes to the customer service. I do wish they would hire more friendly or at the very least, content employees because the cashiers who work here always seem to be in an eternal gloomy state. I don’t even get the«have a nice day» routine or even a smile most of the time when I approach to check out. It really kills the entire mood of the store so do your best to be positive when getting ready to pay for your items to save yourself the trouble of getting the cold shoulder or the stare down. On one hand, this branch excels in what it’s supposed to do, sell bed and bath products. However, customer service really does need to be improved because I will kindly take by business somewhere else where I won’t be treated like I’m not welcome and I encourage others to do the same if you feel the same way.

I love this store, but I DON’T love their employees. My husband and I went in here to spend a hefty amount of money after our wedding on new things. We are thrifty people and look for sales and clearances. Attempting to finally be grown ups, we picked out a decently expensive comforter set and found that matching sheets were on sale– yay, adulthood! Long story short, the sheets WEREN’T on sale. The same brand, the same colors but different packaging(what???) were on sale. We were fine with that, but asked for clarification. We were going to spend full price on the sheets because you know… we’re trying to be adults and things should match? Enter Matt, the extremely angry and very overworked employee of sheets. He was hostile, insulting and treated me like I was a complete idiot– once my husband walked away to get the sale sign to clarify our question. Clearly, he assumed that since my husband want there he could bully me. He actually asked me how it was that I couldn’t tell the packaging was different, thus marking what was on sale. I told him I’m just a customer. I’m not paying attention to the small difference in stripes on the packaging. I see sale and say«TAKEMYMONEY.» I told him he had been in retail WAY too long if he was treating me this way and he snarkily agreed with me and said he was giving us the sale price, but only because he had to. (*please note– I didn’t originally ask for that. I asked for clarification. When he got all uppity and angry, I demanded the sale price. Why? Because he was a jerk and at that point, I was being a jerk customer and demanding something for being insulted) I mean, cool. We got the sheets on sale. Yay. But we left feeling like utter crap when we should’ve been excited to go home and furnish our newly marital home with all our goodies. I mentioned the experience to the store manager and she was unimpressed and gave the typical«I’m sorry for your poor experience.» Needless to say, we’ve been going to Target a lot more!

I was in the area so I decided to stop at this BB&B location for some new kitchen glasses and bathroom hand towels. I was able to find what I wanted easily and everything was new and organized. I had no problems with the store itself. My problem with this location came from the person who checked me out. I did not buy my glasses in a set since I only needed to replace a couple of glasses after dropping the ones at home. I put 4 glasses on the counter to purchase and after she rang one up she decided I wasn’t allowed to buy these glasses. She told me I can only buy glasses that are in the set and these are displays only. I advised her that I have purchased them like that before and I didn’t want a set. She went back and forth with me for a little while before I requested she ask her manager. The manager came right away and told the girl cashing me out that I was correct and I didn’t need to buy the whole set, I could, in fact, buy 4 glasses. After she was wrong she was a total snob to me. It really isn’t that big of a deal if you are wrong, you don’t need to be a snob to your customer because they knew something you didn’t. The store is huge, I don’t expect you to know everything about it and I knew I could get those glasses because I already did. Overall, I would probably go to a different location, mostly because this one is kind of far from home, but because I know that I will have a friendly experience somewhere else. I love this store and I love the selection is has to offer.

Limited selection in comparison to other Bed Bath & Beyond shopping experiences.
