I went to this store last year to look at some dining furniture(of course). I liked what I say. Basically, it’s mostly hand-made furniture that is unique and stylish. I liked what I saw. I was even able to admire the craftsmanship and quality of materials in the tables that weren’t quite my style. Mostly, they sell tables adequate for a dining room, not a dinette or kitchenette, which means most of what they had was too large or expensive for what I needed. They had a few good options, though. If I need dining room furniture or a large, well-constructed table, I would certainly stop by this place. The annoying thing is that you don’t know the price of most of the items. Most things aren’t labeled, and it’s not obvious when trying to ballpark the price. If you see a table, it could cost $ 500 or $ 5,000. It’s hard to tell. They should set up their store better to make it easier for people to shop. I haven’t purchased anything from here, but I know others who have. My parents did about 14 years ago. They bought a large wooden table with four rolling swivel chairs. It still looks ok, despite some bumps and bruises. I think the table is nice and solid, and the chairs are among the most comfortable chairs I’ve sat in. I am not exaggerating when I say they are comfortable enough to use for hours. I’ve even fallen asleep in them a few times. Of course, these are padded, leather chairs that rock, swivel, and roll. With this, I would easily give this company a 5-star rating. The disappointing factor is that the mechanisms in these chairs were cheap, and broke shortly after purchase. I think my parents have been trying to repair these, both on their own and by battling with the company. The company didn’t do anything to fix or repair the chairs effectively. We’d basically have to buy a new mechanism for all four chairs and install it to fix the problem. As far as I know, they haven’t done that, but it does make me a little angry that the company didn’t take care of this. If they couldn’t do anything to fix it, they could have at least given them some money back. This knocks the rating way down, but I’ll be generous and give it a 3-star. From what I can see, they’re a good store and carry great products, but their service is inadequate.

Rude customer service and shady pricing. They had one chair on display without a price tag. When asked how much it was, one week it was 150 with a 50 discount to 100. Next week, it was 200 with a 50 discount to 150. It was the same salesman who would not even check the computer to verify pricing. Then he told us it was closing time, that he wanted to go home and that we either had to buy it or … I assume he meant to say, ‘or get out’. As we were walking out of the store, he turned off the lights effectively letting us walk through the store in the dark. It’s a single chair without a set. They should be discounting the price, the price should be transparent, and customer service should be better.

I ordered two barstools from Dining Furniture Center and was told they would arrive in about 3 weeks. After numerous calls to them and empty promises from them, we finally received our barstools after 3 months. No phone calls from them ever. No apologies were given ever. They were arrogant about the situation and I do not recommend this business.
