The print facilities at RIT really spoiled me as far as service, quality and price, but all that was four years ago. Since I graduated, I’ve lowered my standards, considerably. This FedEx/Kinko’s location is fairly new and relatively modern. However, be advised, you better keep a few things in mind: 1.) This location doesn’t play well with drives or volumes formatted for Mac. The computers and kiosks only like things formatted in FAT32. 2.) Even with a properly formatted drive, make sure whatever you need to print is a readable format. I find that PDF is the best way to go. 3.) Don’t think you can email yourself a file and print it out at this location. They have major sites like Yahoo and Gmail blocked, so you will be SOL. The staff is friendly, albeit slow; if you ask them a question, you would think they are scanning a billboard in their head. They take FOREVER to answer your questions. My advice is to show up prepared and tell them what you want. They’ll move at 100PPM if you give them an order.
