Jason is The Best.
Have been meaning to write a review since Fall 2014 when we first found Frameworks. My boyfriend and I acquired some canvases that were rolled and shipped, so they needed to be stretched and framed. We found Frameworks online and saw a few good reviews. We walked in and met Jason. After telling him we like black frames and we’re cheap, Jason rolled out our pieces and proceeded to guide us on a journey to picking the right frame for each one. He has a gift for pairing colors and styles to the piece and the buyer. (None of them ended up being black.) We walked out and picked up some beautifully framed art a couple weeks later.
I had one watercolor piece that I wanted to work on framing myself. Except it turned out to be a pain in the _​_​_​due to its size. I had a coupon and went in to Michaels for an idea of pricing. For a basic black frame (no, I don’t learn), mat, and glass, the price was almost $ 200. I called Jason from the car in Canandaigua. He ballparked a number for me over the phone and we drove 40ish minutes to Greece to see The Man. Jason helped us pick a mat that coordinated with the piece and a dark brown metal frame — it’s perfect. Lesson learned this time: GO SEE JASON.
So fast forward to Feb. 2015. We took a trip and brought home some pieces we picked up. Again, they needed to be stretched and framed. One piece is about 3.5 ft. x 4.5. ft. And again, Jason to the rescue — he helped us find the right frames that compliment the artwork while staying within a price range that worked for us.
I can also say this guy can keep a secret. I bought a watercolor to surprise by bf for his birthday. One phone call and Jason and I worked out a plan. He even kept quiet while my bf and I were there picking out frames for the other canvases.
The work done here is top notch and ready to hang on the wall. One of our pieces had notes from the artist on the back of the canvas. We wouldn’t be able to see it after the framing was done — each piece gets a paper backing to protect it. When we picked it up, Jason had taken a photo of the artist’s writing and printed it so it was affixed to the paper backing.
Attention to detail. Helpful. Understanding. And a good counsellor. Can’t ask for much more from a frame guy!

I had a great experience working with Frameworks. The employees were very helpful with framing a Kilt I had from Scotland. They provided great in site into how it would be framed and different materials that would be used. In the end it turned out perfect and I could not be happier. I would highly recommend Frameworks to anyone who needs a custom framing solution.

Have had quite a few pictures framed with Jason and his help and expertise is right-​on. Each picture has become enhanced to perfection. He is friendly and takes the time to help create the best mat and frame for each picture.

Jason is awesome. We discovered Frameworks about a year ago because of a Groupon. And we have been going back ever since. We are gradually framing a collection of concert posters and take one in every now and again to get it framed. It is always beautiful; he does a great job, all in house, and is very helpful at deciding frames and mats.
We like him so much, and his prices are so reasonable, that we have purchased most of our gifts over this past year from him; so far 2 wedding gifts and three Christmas gifts.
