A family run take-out location that is clean and does a good job with standard Chinese fare. Food is always ready on time and the veggies taste fresh. I had General Chicken which had a nice crisp coating and I asked for Pork Szechwan which tasted like boneless pork pieces in a brown sauce. Not spicy, but ok. The egg rolls were particularly good. No condiments unless you ask for them !!! There are tables inside, but they are not sheltered from the open door and the place is barely heated.

After reading the othes reviews I must admit, I was a bit nervous about ordering. However, it was the closest Chinese place and the wife wanted Chinese. We had the generals chicken and beef broccoli with some egg rolls. The meal was just fine. Actually, it was pretty good. I’m not going to say it was the most fantastic meal I ever had, but it was good Chinese take out. I was actually a slightly impressed with the egg roll. It was fried to crispy perfection. I think the next time we have a hankering for Chinese I already know I’m going to order from China Wok.

I have eaten here a few times and this is an average Chinese restaurant. I go here with full understanding that it is average at best. I have eaten a few dishes ranging from General Tso to Beef & Broccoli. Nothing spectacular, but usually not a disappointment. The last two visits have been sub-par and I am now questioning return visits. The last eats there had the General Tso’s tasting like sponge and very little flavor. It was almost like it was re-heated; big disappointment. The service is fine, but I always do take out. The restaurant dining area is cold in appearance and I have never seen anyone eat in. In fact I typically only see take out orders. When you are already settling for Chinese food(which is what I was doing here) and perfectly happy with average in this case, you cannot disappoint in back-to-back visits. Looks like I am shopping for a new Chinese food spot. Eat here, but do not look for any wow food.

I have eaten at this restaurant several times now and have tried the General Tso’s chicken, beef broccoli, sweet sour chicken and sesame chicken on multiple occasions. The General Tso’s chicken and beef broccoli were pretty good. The sweet sour chicken was perfectly fried but the sauce was so watered down that you couldn’t tell what type of sauce it was except that it is colored red. The sesame chicken sauce was good but the meat itself tasted a bit strange(I don’t want to know why). It’s not something that I would order again from that restaurant. When you eat in, they don’t offer water or tea like you would normally get at another Chinese restaurant. The tea bag is put into a styrofoam cup and served that way for free but you have to ask for it. If I happen to be driving by and craving Chinese I may order from there again but chances are I’ll go somewhere else. It’s too bad because I like the people that own the business. PROS: + Very clean and well-maintained restaurant + Polite staff + Lunch plates priced well at around $ 5 per plate and includes fried rice, an egg roll or wonton/egg drop soup. + General Tso’s chicken and Beef broccoli are pretty good. CONS: — The other dishes are not as good as other places in the area. The Marketplace Mall in Henrietta has a better Chinese take-out place in the food court that is decently priced and tastes consistently good. — Water and tea not served well when you dine inside.
