Always a pleasure to stay at Hampton Inn in Henrietta when visiting Rochester. I feel this is one of the best in the chain. The staff is always helpful, engaged with the guests especially Super Dave who worked the front desk last night, giving us great suggestions for dinner and entertainment. Also, Lisa who runs the complementary breakfast area is amazing! Hampton is lucky to have such a friendly, hard working employee. She greets every guest like family and checks to make sure the area is clean and we’ll stocked. The rooms are always available, clean as is the fitness center and swimming pool(which is important to me). Thanks, Hampton!

Always enjoy staying here. The mornings are great because you get a complementary breakfast with tons of different choices, plus Lisa provides the best service and always puts a smile on our face!!! Love her! Lisa is the main reason we choose to come here!

We stayed here as a pit stop traveling to Portland, Maine. We only stayed one night 7÷31÷15 to 8÷1÷2015. It was by far the best hotel we stayed at our entire trip! No complaints! Good service, good clean room, the Internet was great and strong enough that we could stream video on our iPad’s. My only regret is we didn’t book at Hampton Inn for our whole trip! The breakfast was nice. Overall great experience for a quick stay!

I have stayed here twice and each time the same experience. The staff is friendly, courteous, and always try to help in any way they can. The breakfast varies a little bit each day day 1-eggs, bacon, mushrooms Day 2-eggs with cheese, home fries, sausage. Both days were also accompanied by a variety of fruits(bananas, apples) and flavored yogurts, cereal, bagels, muffins, English muffins, breads, along with butter, jams, and cream cheese, make your own waffles and oatmeal with various toppings(whipped cream, caramel and chocolate syrup, maple syrup, toasted almonds, cranberries, and brown sugar) and various juices and water. In the lobby there is always access to complimentary coffee, tea, as well as cookies. The hotel is always clean and so are the rooms. Upon walking into the room there is tile at first that carries into the bathroom, just in case your shoes are dirty and carpet towards the bedroom portion of the room. The carpet is clean and not stained and so were the sheets. The AC is efficient and not noisy. There is a fridge in every room and a closet. The bathroom is clean and updated. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I am in the area. Nearby are a lot of restaurants and stores and it is next to a shopping center. I would recommend using your AAA discount and signing up for HHonors to earn points and a free room.

This is the hotel to stay at when visiting RIT. Just a few miles from campus and near all conveniences you will ever need. The rooms are always impeccable. The staff is perhaps the friendliest ever encountered. I have stayed here more than half a dozen times since my initial review. I always look forward to returning.

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay for the money. Clean rooms, modern design, and extremely friendly/helpful staff made my long day much better. Highly recommended for any Rochester stay. It’s also next to every type of restaurant you could want!

The room was clean, looks brand new. Staff very friendly. I’m out in this area on business and they more than gladly accommodated my later check out time. Highly recommend this hotel!

Clean hotel, friendly staff, competitive rates, great amenities(free wifi, pool and workout room) and convenient location. I do agree with others about their breakfast though. It’s free, so that’s great, but it’s also kind of a sad assortment of fake eggs and see-through limp bacon. Not the end of the world, but definitely room for improvement.

Good hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff. Convenient location to RIT and other places in and around Rochester. This is my preferred hotel when I visit Rochester(except the Strathallen but I can’t afford that every trip!). The breakfast was good — about the same as any other hotel with free breakfasts that are basic — scrambled eggs, toast, muffins, etc, but breakfast for me is coffee and muffins so I’m not looking for Relais et Chateaux. Pool and gym are good — pool is small but nice for a quick dip. Gym has better equipment than most low cost hotels.

Solid place. Rooms were nice and clean. Quiet. Good shower pressure. They have a pool. A bit small, but kids still had a good time. Workout room was nice. good aerobic equipment and was always empty when we were there. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. Waffles were off. Did not cook them right. Eggs were not fresh, so not made and refreshed appropriately. Side dishes were weak. No oatmeal which was a disappointment. Bagels were generic and doughy. We actually ate out half the time, when we had the time. So, hotel and room good. Food poor.

Friendly staff. Hotel is nice-looking. The rooms were clean upon arrival and throughout stay. Breakfast was just okay. It was a little disappointing that there wasn’t oatmeal like at the other Hampton Inn hotels. And the supposed«hot» food was actually lukewarm, so wasn’t as good as it could be. The waffle irons weren’t working properly, so the outside of the waffles were cooked but the inside was still gooey. Free internet and parking. Some service issues — I asked the front desk last night to send a cot up, and was told he’s the only one available(it was late) and can’t leave the front desk, which is totally fine. But i asked him to arrange for one to be sent up the following night, and he said okay, but upon returning to the hotel, there was again no cot, and again it was late with no additional staff. I found that disappointing not to get that arranged as i was told it would be so clearly there was some staff miscommunication there on their end.
