Ide Mazda

I was supposed to write this a month ago. I bought my FIAT from Bob and I can honestly say it was the best car buying experience of my life. Not only were the sales people knowledgable but Bob has personally followed up on every one of the issues I’ve had with the car. There haven’t been that many but things did show up here and there and anything that happened he was on top of and covered even when it wasn’t within warranty. He’s so friendly and very eager to work with his customers. The service department is fantastic and obviously as someone who drives all day for work; the free oil changes can’t be beat.
I really love the place, they have a cute lounge and the staff is super friendly. You won’t find better people to buy a car from, honestly.

Recently visited the dealership looking to purchase a Mazda CX-​5. I dealt with Marty who was very friendly, eager to help and willing to look up any questions he wasn’t sure of. I spent quite a bit of time trying to negotiate a deal that was the best in the area. They were willing to bring in the specific card I wanted from a near-​by dealer and had a great test drive experience.
I gave this dealership every opportunity to meet a deal that I received at Marketplace Mazda but they were unwilling to budge by a few hundred dollars. In the grand scheme of this purchase a few hundred dollars to them shouldn’t matter that much. I could tell that Marty had no real say in the pricing as he had check with a «woman in back» who I never met or talked to but was the «decision maker.»
Marty was pleasant but do shop around before making a final purchase and stick to your best found deal.

Took my Miata in on a holiday weekend on very short notice. I was 500 miles from home, pressed for time, and having driven across the country a couple of dozen times, I know well how helpless one can be in this situation. They took the car that day, checked it out, found nothing, and didn’t do (as they certainly could have) any number of routine and unnecessary ‘repairs’. Car is fine, and if I ever need service in that area, I’m going back. Thanks.

I sort of knew what I was looking for when I went in. (I had owned a Mazda and wanted another.)
I had planned on buying a used car. They offered such a huge discount for a brand NEW car that was a 2013. (It was late jan 2014), I couldn’t pass it up. Wanted the more expensive car but knew It didn’t fit financially. Bought the less expensive model, wasn’t pushed either way. When it came down to finance they offered the after sale packages. I said, if I could afford those, I would have purchased the more expensive vehicle. After that, they said ok and it wasn’t mentioned again.
They answered all questions without pushing me in their direction.
Marty was my salesman and he’s a good man, I highly recommend him.
Mazda 3 is a good car and the buying experience was much less stressful than I anticipated.

PS I am cynical and untrusting by nature.
To me I got a great deal without any issues.
