I have been a loyal customer of Bob Colombo since his days at Midtown Plaza. Numerous times, I have been told by other jewelers that something «Simply cannot be done,» only to have Bob tell me «No Problem!»
His prices are more than reasonable, his turn around time is one of the best in the business and he could not be a more personable guy.
I will be returning for all my watch and jewelery needs now and in the future.

Now located in an exterior portion of the Powers Building in Downtown Rochester, Jewelry Clinic moved to its new location. Operated by bench jeweler Bob Colombo, the shop offers repairs, sales and more. He replaced my watch battery while I waited and even cleaned and serviced the timepiece for $ 20 total plus tax. I will be returning to have another watch repaired.

This jewelry repair/​sales shop just moved in across the street from my work into the Powers Building. I have had non-​working watch for over 2 years now that I have just been too lazy to take to have a new battery put into it. I spotted the sign for this place last week and figured I had no reason not to walk across the street and see what he could do. Walked in, told him it stopped working and that I wasn’t sure if it needed a battery or not, he took it and in 5 mins had it working! He was a very nice man, seems to be very good at his job. He said he used to have his shop in Midtown at McCurdy’s — how vintage! I was a little nervous about the price as some of those mall shops charge you an arm and a leg but it was $ 12.95! I will certainly be bringing any other jewelry and watches to this man.
