Jeff DuPont began his consulting career with Medical Assessment Programs, brokers for Independent Medical Exams (IME) related to Worker’s Compensation claims, based in Boston MA. In 1994 –He helped start, with partners, a new company, Protocol Work Systems Inc., that focused on providing on-​site, objective, and detailed information to employers and insurers involved in Worker’s Comp claims and the physicians performing the IME’s, that related to the physical elements of the injured workers’ essential job functions. The findings, a Job Function Analysis (JFA), allowed all parties more insight into the employees daily work activities and to help them make better informed decisions regarding proper treatment, evaluation, and return to work status and to ensure the recuperating workers could safely go back to their job. Deciding he wanted to own his own business, LaurelRidge Consulting Group is founded.
