WOW! I have to say, the reviews on here must be from wackos, as I tried Miracle Computers when I was in Rochester for a business meeting. I asked several business people in Rochester where to go to get my laptop fixed and my screen replaced on my phone and they all said to go to Miracle Computer and let Wade take care of it. I dropped my phone as soon as I got out of my rental car! So I went there and met Wade, the owner. I told him what had happened and the problem with my laptop and he said to go to my meetings and check in when I was done. 5 hours later I called and he said everything was fixed. My phone looks brand new and my laptop has never been faster! It had a hard drive going bad. He replaced the hard drive and copied all of my stuff to it. I also got a very good price for all the work I had done.
I noticed they also have a Hosting company next door and I asked Wade about it. It turns out that too is his and he gave me a price for hosting my company on his servers and his price was half of what I am being hosed for now! So I’m going to try SiteGenie too!
I highly recommend when you are in Rochester, MN and need computer work done right or your phone fixed, you need to stop in and see Wade. Tell him that Average Joe sent you!

We brought our sons cracked IPAD in to get the screen repaired. They took it in and said it was no problem, so we were happy that we would get it back like new! They finished the I-​PAD and we picked it up… but one corner was not sealed tight to the frame and the button was loose… we were shocked as we drove away with the fact that they thought this was acceptable. Once home our son played with it for about an hour and the button fell out and we returned it and one again they took it back and told us they would order a new button and try to get the screen to sit flat once again. 7 days later we arrived to pick it up and they did replace the button and tried to reseal it at no further charge. A day later it was all coming apart again and the button fell behind the screen again and the pressure once again cracked the screen as my little boy tried to get the button out from behind the glass. So we were DONE WITH MIRACLE COMPUTER for this technology. To their defense they did give it the «olé college try» but $ 120 dollars later and a HORRIBLE product later we wish they would have just said they are not good with those and we should go to the I-​Mobile repair shop in Rochester that SPECIALIZES in I-​PADS and I PODS!
Once the I Mobile guy took apart the I-​PAD it was painfully obvious how deep under their skis Miracle was when working on this product. There were missing parts, missing screws, the screen was never placed correctly, it was a disaster… SO I would say to the boys, just admit you cannot do this work like Bright Eyed did when we went there before they recommended I Mobile for Apple repair…

Great little shop that carried an assortment of cables, HDs, tools, etc. If you’re looking to avoid the mark-​up and very general offerings from Best Buy just down the road, this is the place to visit.
The problematic thing about a mom & pop shop is that they don’t keep much inventory on site and sell out of things fast. We were unable to get a few items.
The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and definitely were in the middle of repairing when we entered. I’d trust their repair skills and knowledge. Even if they don’t have what you’re looking for, they can point you to the right direction.

So here’s the skinny: avoid this repair shop at all costs. The details are contained below, but for those of you who appreciate reading short snippets, here you go. My dad took his computer to this shop, paid over $ 600, received sub-​par service, and did not actually have his problem fixed.
My father took his computer in because his hard drive crashed. He was hoping that this company would be able to perform data recovery. Unfortunately, they could not, and found many more ways to charge him.
Strike #1) I helped my dad build his computer two years ago, so it did not have a «Windows Authentication» sticker on the case. Miracle Computers’ staff did not understand that, when you build your own computer, this Authentication sticker is absent. The staff concluded that my dad was a software pirate (or had used one), and made him pay $$$ for a new copy of Windows that he didn’t need.
Strike #2) Miracle Computers said that my father’s motherboard was burned out. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t — I was not there to witness it. But I do know that (a) they did not return the damaged motherboard, (b) they installed a motherboard that was not the same model as was originally installed, © they did not give my dad the drivers to the new motherboard, and (d) THEY DID NOT INSTALL THE MOTHERBOARD PROPERLY. I had to clean up after them because they were negligent in failing to connect the front USB and audio ports to the new motherboard.
Strike #3) They were not able to perform the services that my dad originally contracted for — recovering data from the damaged hard drive. Normally this wouldn’t be that big of a deal, but considering that the bill was over $ 600, this is a huge negative.
Strike #4) I’m not convinced that they actually even made a good-​faith effort to recover data from the hard drive. For those of you who work with hard drives, when I pulled the damaged drive out of the sealed plastic envelope, the jumper was still in the «master» position. To recover data, the appropriate course of action would have been to set the jumper to the «slave» position and go from there. Although it is possible that they put the jumper back in its original position after attempting data recovery, I doubt it based on all the other problems.
Strike #5) My dad had two adapters on the back of his case that converted his monitor outputs from VGA to HDMI. These were not returned with the case when my dad picked it up. He brought it home, discovered they were missing, and had to drive all the way back to the store to receive two NEW ADAPTERS that were of an inferior quality (although, to Miracle Computers’ credit, they did not charge him for them).
In short, please do not use this company for your computer-​repair needs. You are better of finding another store, or simply buying a new computer and not spending your money on nothing.
