Had a extremely bad migraine and meds were out. Needed script called into my pharmacy. Called doctors office 4 times on a Thursday and Friday(split) and was left on hold for over 26 minutes averaged each time. Could not sit on phone any longer and simply gave up. Got another bad headache today while out by marketplace mall. called doctors office again and was able to leave on speaker phone(ONHOLD) and drove all the way to Long pond and parkway area before someone picked up.(24 minutes) I was told these are the busy phone days. that is not a good excuse. if your phones are that busy you should hire more people to answer them. I would like to note that my actual doctor within this complex is the best! BUT the people that answer the phones need to speak up and tell who is in charge they need more help. I also hate the fact that when you call you have to listen to a five minute lecture(commercial) before you can actually be connected to the right department. Just to be placed on hold forever.
