Riddle Chiropractic

I will start by saying that I did receive good chiropractic care and pain relief, however it came at a major cost, mentally and financially. While I am a strong believer of chiropractic and do have complaints about the way traditional medicine is practiced these days, Dr. Riddle tries to convince everyone that the medical establishment is pure evil. None of his information is balanced, and it worries me when I hear him speaking to vulnerable individuals. Not everyone has the ability to weigh facts. Sadly, Dr. Riddle is incredibly arrogant and stubborn, and does not take kindly to anything outside of his personal field of thought. He claims that medical doctors are only out to get money and that he actually cares for patients, but it doesn’t take long to see that he’s an insane profit machine and does not give any more individualized care than medical doctors. The way they deal with payment is beyond me. They make it like you’re saving a lot of money, but you’re not. Also since they want money upfront, if you later move out of the area or become unsatisfied with services, you lose out (I know from experience). I also did the weight loss program, but before it was wildly advertised. While you can lose weight on it, you can also find the same regimen and products online for around $ 40. I have since purchased drops online to lose more weight, and had the same results. The scanning system they use to get you to take more supplements is a total scam. It has no backing in science, and Dr. Riddle admitted that he doesn’t know how it works, but to trust it. The weight loss is not magically permanent either — you have to be very strict to keep the weight from coming back on. I personally know people who have regained it after this regimen. Dr. Riddle has not personally done the program, and when I asked if he had he scoffed and said, «why would I need to lose weight?» (as if there couldn’t have been a time in his previous life where he needed to lose weight). That being said, he he cannot relate to what the people are going through, and it shows. Also, he recommends supplements without getting a full medical history or list of current medications. During he weight loss program he tried to give me a supplement with an ingredient I was allergic to, which I had previously told him about. Overall I am very concerned on his impact on people who desperately want to lose weight or stop pain. He can easily take advantage of those with little medical knowledge and other vulnerable patients, especially those who come from a culture that never question a doctor’s word. I have since found another chiropractor who offers me the same type of chiropractic adjustments and therapies, but does not come with all the extra mental and financial baggage. (the google reviews have much higher ratings because requests makes personal requests that patients give him positive google reviews)

I attempted to utilize this chiropractor for service. First problem, that did not seem too serious at first was that one of his staff called me to confirm my appointment, but did not know what service that I was coming in for, and had my first name incorrect. Mind you, I set this up about a week and half prior and am pretty sure that I know my own name. Apparently they do acupuncture and some sort of «weight loss» program as well.
So I show up for my appointment and am given a handful of paperwork to complete. As I get to the last page I notice that it appears that I would not be getting an adjustment that day, only an evaluation, and x-​rays of some sort. When I mentioned that I was not informed about this when I called to set up this appointment the reception person said «well we can just shred your paperwork for you then». I have been to many chiropractors over the years, and many of them quite good to excellent, and a couple less than good to unacceptable. When you need an adjustment, you need it now, not at the next appointment. I have never had such an unacceptable feeling walking into a chiropractor’s office before. Something felt wrong with the whole situation. I suspect that it was the group of people milling around for the «weight management» program. And by the way, they still got my first name wrong when I arrived, and still wasn’t sure what my appointment was for.
My overall impression was that of a place that seemed unprofessional and possibly even like a place that might take advantage of people in need for profit.

DO NOT go here. The business owners are running a business to take advantage of those with back pain and weight problems. The weight loss plan is actually a variation of HcG plan. I bought into the NutriMost plan at an exorbitant price and did lose weight only to learn later on that I could have found the same diet for free online. Google dr Simeone’s Pounds and Inches. I should have done my homework before giving them my money but I was so sad about my weight, I was too vulnerable. Just take a look at the office. Does it look like a health care provider’s office? Propaganda everywhere. The people working there are not licensed nurses or practitioners. The owner is not an M.D. Health insurance does not cover their services. So what do think? Follow your instincts.

The care I received from Dr. Nate changed my life — improved sleep, less pain, and less headaches. I am so grateful for his compassion and for his knowledge. It was money well-​spent and I highly recommend Riddle Chiropractic!

Horrible experience here. This place took advantage of my wife who suffered from a back injury. I repeatedly asked if they took health insurance which most chiropractors do and he did not. They signed us up anyways even after I told them numerous times I could not afford this inflated cost. It went fine up until I broke my back at work, they no longer wanted to work with me financially and eventually sent me to a credit agency. Other doctors offices based on the situation would have either set up a payment plan or took care of the bill. Do not go here and stick to a trusted chiropractor who has been in business longer, isn’t shady and takes some form of health insurance.
