Description

Specialties

Rochester Acupuncture — Shen Dao Institute is an acupuncture and traditional Chinese Medicine center in downtown Rochester, Michigan, specializing in promoting well-being and quality longevity.

We see each person as a unique individual, resulting from the interrelation of body, mind and spirit within an environment. Therefore diagnosis and treatment plans are specific to each individual’s needs.

As practitioners of Oriental Medicine, we emphasize the prevention of disease by enhancing the immune system, promoting detoxification, strengthening the functioning of the internal organs and ensuring the proper flow of one’s vital energy.

We believe that is essential to offer you a clear view of your situation and at the same time to provide the means and information to help you naturally recover health, vitality and well-being permanently.

History

Established in 2007.

Our clinic started in Barcelona, Spain, in 2007. There we worked helping hundreds of cases. In the summer of 2013 we relocated to Michigan because Brooke is from here and opened a new branch of Shen Dao here in Rochester, Michigan.

Business Owner

Ferran Blasco Aguasca is a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and a Registered Acupuncturist in the state of Michigan.

In his clinical practice he combines Oriental Medicine and modern medical research with Homotoxicology. Oriental medicine includes acupuncture and Chinese herbology, heat therapy, breathing exercises and meditation, therapeutic massage, nutrition and lifestyle counseling. Homotoxicology is a modern school of Homeopathy that combines single homeopathic remedies into formulas that support the body’s natural defense, detoxification and regulatory mechanisms. Ferran feels that these two traditions of medicine complement each other very well, offering his patients the necessary tools to approach the modern world’s challenges to health and happiness.
