Rochester Hills Public Library offers a wide range of books and educational resources to the community. The library has a collection of more than 260,000 items for children, teens and adults, including books, videos and DVDs. Its various services include online access to library accounts, career resources, children s learning section, genealogy resources, wireless access, and online book club and database. The library facilities include meeting rooms, vending machines program, activity and computer training rooms, and learning and homework center. It provides various accessibility services, such as wheelchairs an and electric scooters for the physically disabled, screen reading software, online catalog, and an access to the Internet and library database. The public library is located in Rochester, Mich.

This is a great library overall. Great books, videos, kid area. My biggest complaint, and it’s a big one, is that the bathrooms are always disgusting! All of the bathrooms not just the two located in the kid area. I have been a member of this library since March 2013 and every single time we are here they are gross. Poorly stocked, wet, and smelly. Last time we visited I brought it to the librarian’s attention, and she said it was probably just a dirty diaper, and went about her day. Gross! Lake Orion library is much cleaner. I hope they can figure out a solution before flu season. Yuck!

The Star of our city. There is not a book you can’t find here. and if u need a just released volume or a vintage copy they get it for u. Reserve new DVD’S and they’ll call u when it in or avaliable. There are free speakers, musical shows and educational programs The children’s areas are unbelievable. Every age level has their own area. The addition construction is nearly complete for our drive up srevices.

My gf is a book worm. We come here a lot to get her more and more books. We even rent movies sometimes. It’s very close to where we live so we sometimes walk or ride our bikes to here.

An impressive library with great staff. Much more than just a library — but also a community center with great programs for families and kids (Christmas trolley, story time, and other events for kids like the Harry Potter quidditch event)

Great library! Friendly staff, love the children’s area as its secluded and spacious with lots of books and a little play area. Lots of quiet areas to sit and relax and I love the magazine lounge!
Easy to navigate and browse to find what I need. There is a large DVD selection to choose from and its recently renovated. Easy parking and inviting lobby.

i agree with the other reviews that this library has a great selection and their kid’s room is fabulous. however, a good portion of the staff is rude. flat out snooty and rude.

A fantastic library for a small town Rochester. This library has everything one could want; it has books, magazines, audio/​video, computers for Internet access, private rooms for studying, and a fabulous kids area. They also offer great events throughout the year like meeting authors, childrens readings, and my personal favorite Christmas trolley with games and snacks inside. Come visit and leave with a smile!

This place is why Blockbuster went out of business. The movie selection is exceptional! The collection of television series such as the Sopranos, Six Feet Under, etc lets me enjoy the entire season in a week of rental. If a movie is currently being rented, the online reservation service allows you to be notified when it is available. You can even pick it up at the drive up window.
Quarterly the ‘Friends of the Library’ has a fabulous sale of used books. You can often find classics and new releases for $ 1. On the last day of the sale, an entire bag of books is $ 5!
The library’s website connects to really good article search engines. If you plan on going to do the library to do research, you can just as easily log in from home.
This library also has normal library functions such as book rental, computers with internet access and community activities. What a great asset in my town.
