This location is beautiful; much improved over the old Ridge Culver location. They have a drive thru(bonus!). However, I feel like this location is always having staff turnover, which makes the service spotty at best. The last few times I’ve been in, it’s taken forever to even get my order taken, as the cashier always seems distracted(not sure if s/he takes the drive thru orders or what). Last time, another patron and I stood there for a good few minutes while the counter person was making new drip coffee, and we were not acknowledged(at ALL) by any of the other three workers. It can take a while to get your drink, and the last few I’ve had(a chai latte and an americano) were weak and poorly made. The last time I had the chai latte and it was so watery, I threw most of it out. Hopefully they’ll work out their kinks, but for now, I’d only stop here for drip coffee if I had to, and save the specialty drinks for my Brighton location.

I used to go to the Ridge Culver location all throughout high school and on college breaks before they moved to this location. It was a little sad to see them move-the Starbucks was close to both Wegmans and the movie theater, which was very convenient. However, the new location is closer to my side of town and there’s a new Chipotle right next door, so I guess it isn’t so bad. The building itself is very nice inside. Big windows, fun wall decorations, and nice furniture. My only complaint is the lack of seating. I was there with a friend on a random Monday afternoon and we got one of the last tables. I can only imagine how difficult it is to get a spot on a busy Friday or Saturday evening. As for the food and service, it is exactly what you’d expect from any other Starbucks. They’re fast, they’re friendly(but not too friendly), and the drinks and food are all decent. There isn’t much more to say about the food – you know what you’re getting here if you’ve been to Starbucks before.

It’s a brand new building, so inside is fresh and very clean. The guy at the register was very helpful in describing different menu offerings and helped us narrow down what we would like. Service was fast, coffee was great! They have a drive-thru, and to top it all off, they’re right next to a Chipotle.

I like the exterior design and there is a great atmosphere inside. This location is on the newer side but still had the classic Starbucks feel! I like the wooden table design with metal chairs.

I like this location. The staff are friendly, they have a drive-thru(!!!), and usually you don’t have to wait too long. I’ve heard complaints from patrons while I wait for my coffee that there aren’t a lot of comfy sit-down spots anymore, I think that’s something Starbucks is trying to get away from as a whole. Every time one gets renovated the couches get the boot… hmm… I’ve gotten the wrong order once or twice, but hey, now I know that I like macchiatos. I can see this mistake making some people seriously bug out though, so hopefully they can correct those little things. This location loses a star BIGTIME for the parking lot behind it. The actual ‘bucks parking lot is great! organized, paved, enough spots. However, the empty Tops parking lot that you need to drive through depending on which direction you approach Starbucks from is. a. death. trap. I drive INTHE lanes and I’ve had people almost drive into my going 40 because they’re going diagonally across the lot, texting, honking at me like it’s my fault. Yikes. Look alive! Other that that parking lot, this place is a gem. Love it.

I love the new Starbucks in Irondequoit! They have a drive thru and the inside of the café is equipped with even more tables than the previous venue. The same awesome employees from the Ridge/Culver Starbucks are now here, making us regulars feel more comfortable with visiting this location. A Chipotle will soon be opening right next door, which makes the new location even better.
