Steve Knutson – State Farm Insurance Agent

We have been with Steve for 10 years and I must admit that the only reason we are still with him is that we are reluctant to go through the hassle of staying with State Farm but changing agents. The main reason for my less than brilliant rating is primarily due to an claim that we needed help with. A snow removal company damaged the side of our house and some landscaping. We called Steve to act as our go between for settlement, he sent out an adjuster and wouldn’t bother getting himself involved. The State Farm adjuster said that the best they could do was give us $ 500.00 and they would take it up with other insurance company; that wasn’t enough to fix the lawn let alone the siding on the house. Luckily, the agent for the snow-​removal company was much more co-​operative and immediately issued a check for $ 2,200.00. Steve’s office is very good at taking money, but equally poor at assisting their clients.
