Swan Point Inn

My cousin and I went to the Swan Point Inn on Christmas Eve 2012, primarily because it was the only restaurant anywhere around that was open. We expected to have a nice meal and had heard some nice things about it, but neither of us expected to have one of the best meals we have ever eaten! We started off with some delicious egg nog topped with Bourbon and whipped cream, proceeded on to a bowl of crab soup (loaded with crab) and topped everything off with the Crab Imperial, which was the best I have ever eaten. I usually don’t order crab in the winter because it’s generally frozen and fishy tasting. Not so with this crab… I don’t know if it was frozen or not, but it certainly didn’t taste it if it was. Thanks to Swan Point Inn, my cousin and I had a great Christmas Eve and we’ll certainly be going back frequently.

This is the place to eat while in Rock Hall. Their fish is grilled on cedar planks which I loved really added so much flavor to my Rock Fish that I ordered and loved. The service was fantastic and we thought décor was up to date and very clean. Ladies room was so pretty. We had drinks on their lovely deck before dinner and also could have stayed in their inn if we had planned better. My husband ordered their prime rib which was by far the best he ever had. Also for dessert a cute dessert server showed us a tray of wonderful homemade goodies which we had to get their famous carrot cake and chocolate mousse cake. We had a wonderful time dining here and if you are looking for a gourmet meal served in a clean, friendly and professional atmosphere you need to go here. And they do take reservation!
