History

Established in 2011.

Southern Tree Solutions is owned and operated by Johnny Craig. Johnny is a Rock Hill native and a USC graduate, with a degree in Business Administration. He has gained experience in proper pruning methods, removing hazardous trees, and managing a tree crew from working full time as a foreman in the power line clearance industry. While working with trees on the power lines, he invested the time outside of work to learn more advanced rigging techniques, spur-​less climbing, and the study of arboriculture to further his expertise.

We are a small tree service based in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Our main goal is to provide quality tree work at an affordable price. We strive to be a company that continually satisfies and impresses our customers. We believe in taking care of our customers and create a plan of action that fits their individual needs. We understand that people have a budget and what works for one customer may not for another.

We are constantly researching and investigating new technologies for tree care and improving tree quality every day. Our goal is to provide unique services that lower costs and improve quality in the arboriculture industry.
