We had a wonderful time staying at Chandler’s Enchanted Acres this weekend. The cabins are adorable and extremely well kept up. The Chandler family are very nice and very welcoming. There are three cabins on the property plus their house. The cabins are grouped together, but far enough apart that you don’t have to interact with the neighbors if you don’t want to. Each cabin is a single room with a door, and windows on three of the four sides. They also have a little loft where I suppose you could store your belongings while you stay. The cabins have a mini fridge and tiny microwave which is great, but, like camping, there are no utensils or dishes provided. You have to bring your own. Our bed was queen sized and very comfortable. There was an extra blanket provided, and since our heater didn’t work, we used it! I’m sure that if we wanted more blankets, we could have gone to the Chandler’s house and asked. They were very friendly and even brought us cookies when we arrived. They have a portable toilet behind one of the cabins for all guests to use. Because so few people use it, it stays VERY clean. The location of the Enchanted Acres couldn’t be more convenient. It is roughly in the center of all the major hiking attractions, the mountain bike trails, the canoe liveries, the zipline parks, and local restaurants. As we partook in all the of the aforementioned during our weekend stay, we could not have been more pleased with the location. The Chandlers offer a romantic alternative to tent camping, and it is well worth paying a bit more to have a cabin instead of a tent. We can’t wait to go back!
