Our funeral home is the most progressive funeral and cremation provider in the Stateline. We provide complimentary memorial web casts of the funeral or memorial service (for those who are unable to attend), complimentary interactive memorial websites and complimentary memorial movies. Our service is exceptional, our innovation, customization and personalization are unmatched by any area funeral or cremation provider. We also provide cremation services and products for beloved family pets. We welcome the opportunity to meet with you and welcome you to stop by our funeral home, located conveniently at Alpine and Newburg Roads at Colonial Village in Rockford. History
Established in 2009.
Co-owners Bob and Kristan McNames are IL and WI licensed funeral directors with more than a decade of experience each. They earned their bachelor degrees in mortuary science and funeral service from Southern Illinois University. Kristan, who is also a licensed pre-need counselor, was inspired to enter the funeral profession after the unexpected death of her father in high school. She is dedicated to education client families about all of the options available to them. Bob is an experienced embalmer and restorative artist. His experience in other funeral homes influences his vision for the personalized services provided by Grace Funeral & Cremation Services.

Kristan M.
Business Owner
Kristan is a graduate of Southern Illinois University, where she obtained her bachelors degree. She was formerly employed as the general manager of two corporately owned funeral home and cemetery establishments. Kristan was inspired to enter the funeral profession after the death of her father, when she was in high school. After working in the corporate environment for a decade, she decided to get back to the real reason she entered the funeral profession, which was to provide loving, compassionate care to area families. Kristan is a member of the Association of Women Funeral Professionals Advisory Board, the National Funeral Directors Association Advisory Board, and a recipient of the NFDA Professional Women’s Conference Scholarship in 2010. She is also involved in Alpine Kiwanis, the Zonta Club of Rockford and the Rockford Network of Professional Women.
