Excellent selection and fair prices. We stopped here on the way to Scituate, MA and now we’re well stocked for the week!

Luke’s is a religious experience we lovingly named «church». Yes, with a beer, wine, & alcohol list as thick as a Bible, Tora, or Koran. Luke’s craft/​imported beer selection is one of the best in America & their wine selection is one of the best in New England. Wonderful prices that can’t be beat in New England. It is the «Alcohol Superstore». Empty the truck or SUV & fill it up with Adult Joy in a can or bottle.

Luke’s is great. They have an amazing selection of just about everything — hundreds, literally hundreds, of different beers; great selection of tequila, vodka, rum, etc; good wine room too. Their prices are also very competitive and if they don’t have something you want, they can usually get it for you in a few days. Friendly service and checkout staff too!

Love Luke’s. They have everything there! Great wine, spirit and craft beer selection. They also have frequent tastings for all of the above. They have all of the main stream stuff too. Prices are good and the staff has always been helpful when I’m looking for something obscure.

Went to my first Luke’s Liquors wine tasting last weekend. I’m a changed woman.
For only $ 5.00, you get a wine glass, samples from over 300 different wines, and as much appetizers as you can eat. The variety of wines to choose from is amazing and it was just a really enjoyable way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Can’t wait for the next one!

You are awesome — a super-​market sized liquor store? I mean, come on — that’s genius. Your beer selection rocks the party and rocks the party. Except you should invite Clown Shoes brewery to your party too — they deserve to be there.

I haven’t quite decided whether or not it’s a blessing or a curse that Luke’s is located so close to me… But if you’re looking for a large selection of adult beverages, this is it. Beer, wine, and hard liquor.
So why 4 stars? For a store so large there is a rather small selection of refrigerated beer. Some of the aisles are rather narrow so it’s best to park your shopping cart elsewhere. If there was a sign or some type of advertisement to let patrons know how they can request Luke’s to carry a particular beer, wine, or liquor, it would make it that much better.
Very friendly staff. And sometimes promoters are in the store with free samples.

I want to personally thank Luke himself for allowing me to perpetuate my crippling alcoholism.

Very impressed with the selection, quite vast! We went looking for a particular hard cider which is not too readily available… they had it. My husband took nearly 2 hours perusing the store! Lots of beer, wine, and liquor… including some pretty high end stuff as well. The best liquor store we have been to on the south shore, in terms of variety. Prices seemed reasonable.

Great selection of beers at fair prices. As with any place that stocks a large variety of beer, you have to be sure to check the dates on the bottles, as there will be some expired stuff, but I have found that Luke’s has this problem less than some of the competition it seems. I like the layout of the beer sections, it’s pretty well organized. They also have a redemption center which is very helpful. Location is a little out of the way, but the selection is good enough to make Luke’s a destination for South Shore beer lovers.

Great selection of beer, wine and alcohol. Prices are good but by no means do they blow the competition out of the water. You can spend an hour in here wandering around looking for what you want to drink.
My one complaint is that many of the beers sit on the shelves for sometime and not are as fresh as they could be. Granted many of these are small microbrew and are sold limited places but beer is best enjoyed fresh. I tend to shy away when I see some dust or two bottles of the same beer with different labels. Not that they are bad but I can’t be sure of the age.

Liquor, liquor, liquor as far as the eye can see. Imports and obscure beverages for every kind of taste that you could imagine. A smörgåsbord of alcohol you could ever dream of.

Probably the one and ONLY reason for me to go to Rockland, but definitely well worth the trip…
Holyyy craft beer mecca. This is my adult candy store. I could spend hours. There was SO much to see. A whole section of domestic micro-​brews and then a longggg row of import craft beers.
The prices were fairly comparable to other places I buy beer… some better, some a tad higher. But the selection is without contest.
If my wallet allowed, I would have left with a lot more but opted for a favorite, Wells Banana Bread Beer and a new one to try, a Cappuccino stout.
Apparently we had just missed a beer tasting which was a bummer, so I will definitely have to come back for one of those.

First time I went here was for a wine tasting… a killer time was had for $ 5, that’s right five bucks! There were about 47 tables, each with 4 – 7 wines to sample along with appetizers being served as well. You also get a wine glass and a booklet listing every vendor and their displayed wines All displayed wines are discounted for the event as well. I’ve been to three wine events since and spend an average of $ 800 restocking my cellar. They have two major wine events per year. One on the first Saturday in May and the second in October. Oh, I almost forgot to mention this place is HUGE and full of anything and everything you need including hard to find wines and liquors.

I believe it has been sufficiently stated by previous reviewers that this place is huge. HUGE. But in addition to a massive selection of domestic and imported wines, beer and spirits there is a knowledgeable staff who are always happy to give a great suggestion. Twice a year Luke’s hosts an amazing wine tasting where a wrinkly, old $ 5 bill will buy you, tasty passed apps, a wine glass and a booklet that gives the name, type and vintage of wine from over 100 distributors and access to try any and all you choose. It is an EVENT not to be missed (and isn’t — it draws people from everywhere!) and all of the wines available are sold at a discounted rate. Luke’s is also a great business that gives a great deal back to the community — Rockland is lucky to have them! As for the nasty comments from the Bostonians who have had the the «misfortune» to find themselves in Rockland — please keep your snotty attitude and ridiculousness away. We won’t miss you…

I was really excited to find Luke’s Liquors because it reminded me of my favorite liquor store to find good beer back home in Connecticut. I stopped in here to find some New England brews and wine for the Christmas holiday. The beer selection here was very impressive and included beer from all around New England, New York, and even from as far out as Seattle. On the other hand, some of the shelves were in disarray and had random singles laying around without any indication of where their 6 or 12 packs might be. I did try to cut them some slack since it was the day before Christmas Eve. I subtracted 1 star from my review though for one of the store clerks who quickly brushed me off when I asked where the Harpoon Winter Warmer might be. I then found it in the back at the end of an aisle (there were plenty of cases there).
After finding our brews, we moved onto selecting wine for the holidays and found it comforting that they had a separate section for Washington wines. We found familiar brands and reasonable prices for some of our favorite WA wines. All in all, I’d probably stop in here again because of their large selection of microbrews, but hope next time they clean up their stock and train their employees to be more helpful.

This place is excellent! I go here for my cheap PBR kegs. Nothing like walking into a supermarket of alcohol. I’m sure many Unilocal fans would agree!
Though I have really only bought kegs here (they have a wide selection) I also have browsed their seductive aisles of booze that make my pants slowly get tight as I traverse down each aisle.
Only quirky downside to the kegs are the tap rental is 5 dollars which… some places just let you throw down a deposit and you get the full amount back.
Also you have to return the tap to the normal shopping area, then you have to leave the building and bring the empty keg to the bottling recycle area which is a 2 minute walk outside down the large side of the building. This kind of makes it awkward depending where you parked haha.
Other then that the staff has always been more then friendly, and even one time their credit card machine was on the fritz so they paid me back my tap and keg deposit in cash. SAID IT. woooo!
Come here if you’re looking for an alcohol that is tough to find, or you want some of the cheapest keg prices around. (Especially if you have your own tap you sea saltin’ alchy son-​of-​a-​bitch)

This place is massive.
I agree with P.G., if I were in Rockland for more time than it took to do the job I was doing, I too would need that large an amount of alcohol. I was slightly alarmed at the amount of people I saw in here around 5pm on a weekday… But then again, it’s Rockland… I guess?!
I found everything I needed in here, and then some, the prices were decent for everything. The lady who rang me up was nice enough and let me give her change so that her change for me wouldn’t be obnoxious and take up my entire wallet. She knew what I was doing, which gives her a few extra points. They carry Kools in a box too. This is a point that made my friend’s uncle beyond happy.
