History

Established in 1987.

Custom Word first operated as a home-​based business offering graphic design and printing services and moved to a retail location in 1994. A member of the Rocklin Chamber of Commerce since 1990, Custom Word was awarded the «Sam Walton Business Leader Award» and the «Rocklin Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year». They are active in their community and have sponsorer many academic, sports, and local events.

Business Owner

Custom Word is a family owned and operated business — husband and wife team, Randy and Theresa Nagel started the business in 1987.

Their two daughters raised in the business, are now grown and have families of their own. Amber continues to work for the business as a graphic designer and Tarah, with a BA in Marketing supports the business with her marketing and web services.
