After graduating from UC Davis in 1997, she began her career at a local Complementary Alternative Medicine HMO. She later moved over to consulting at Mercer Health and Benefits, where she managed employee benefit programs for large employers. In 2007, Susan decided to make the jump and start her own benefits brokerage. Duane Benefit Solutions specializes in exploring benefits for small employers, individuals and Medicare eligible clients. Her passion is helping clients find solutions that fit their healthcare and budgetary needs.

Business Owner

Susan is considered a trusted advisor in the health insurance industry. Beginning her career over 18 years ago, she now owns Duane Benefit Solutions. After graduating from UC Davis in 1997, she began her career at a local Complementary Alternative Medicine HMO. She later moved over to consulting at Mercer Health and Benefits, where she managed employee benefit programs for large employers. In 2007, Susan decided to make the jump and start her own benefits brokerage. Her passion is helping clients find solutions that fit their healthcare and budgetary needs. As a member of the Sacramento Association of Health Underwriters, Susan stays abreast of industry trends for her clients. Susan and her family are active members of the Roseville community. She volunteers in a variety of ways through the schools and local non-​profits, as well as serving on the Board of Trustees for the Roseville City School District. In her free time, you will find her running around town or at her favorite gym.
