I love all the girls that work at the salon. Every time I go in to get my hair done Jessica does such an amazing job and I enjoy chatting with the hair stylists and the other customers in there getting their hair done as well. It actually makes the time go by so fast. Jessica is very knowledgeable about all the different types of extensions and which application method is best suited for my current hair situation. Keinya is the owner of the salon and she truly goes out of her way to make sure her clients are completely satisfied. I recommend this salon to anyone, especially if your experiencing hair loss and desire to try extensions.

Took my daughter to get her haircut. Couldn’t find a hair salon that works with her hair. She’s biracial and has curly hair. Angelica cut and conditioned her hair. It turned out wonderful. Very pleased. We will definitely be back when she wants her hair done again! Thank you!

I love love love getting my extensions done here! I’ve been coming here for 4 years. I have fine hair and love the feel of extensions. I’ve also had color done with Jessica and it came out perfectly.

Please do not go to this hair salon if you are a blonde with thin hair. They may do ethnic hair well but not for blondes. I had tape in hair and this was the way to go, however they talked me into the sewn in wefts with beads. this was to heavy for my hair, I wore them for six months and it broke off half my hair. I know this because I went to five other hair extension people and they told me how bad it was broke off and that this method is only for people with ethnic hair not hair like me. Also they said they have never seen this method and that it was bad and a mess. I hated the hair they did for me it was just to heavy and cumbersome on my head, So that’s why I went to another extension gal and I got tape in hair done and finally they did it right… The people that work there are nice people however what happened to me was just unacceptable in every way and no one cares. Plus it cost a lot and I had to pay for the hair that they ordered me and missed matched as well. I thought I could trust Jessica because she had this method on her hair. Please do not go here if you had fine hair this method will just break it off and you would not even know until it was to late. This review is my only way to warn you of this method. Be ware!!!

Keinya did an outstanding job on my extensions. I have never been more pleased and I have been to several places. If I ever get extentions or any professional hair care it will be here at Hair Addictions

First I will start by saying I have very fine, thin, blonde hair! I wanted hair extensions and made a consultation appointment online with Jessica. Jessica showed me the different extension methods that could be used, ultimately we decided to use the sew in type method. Due to my baby fine hair I was very concerned in ordering extension hair that would also match my hair texture! However I was reassured by the staff that it was possible to find hair that would blend! After waiting a little over a month, I received a phone call from hair addictions saying my hair was in! A few weeks later I had my installation appointment with jessica. The hair I received was not at all what I expected, I have had Clip in extensions from Sally’s beauty supply that felt more soft and real. I thought maybe it would look and feel different when it was all done! … The next day after shampooing and styling my hair I could NOT cover the top track! I went into hair addictions and asked jessica to remove one of the tracks, because there was no way to cover it! Well now none of the hair blended! I was in tears, after spending almost $ 500 on hair extensions, and I was embarrassed to walk into the grocery store. Within 24hours I went elsewhere and had all of the extensions removed.
All of the staff at hair addictions studio is extremely sweet! Jessica is awesome! From my experience I do however recommend that you research on the exact extensions you want! My hair is obviously to fine for these type of extensions, and unfortunately I was not told that from the get go.

The customer service was great. The reason I’m giving only 3 stars is because I’m not happy with the way my hair turned out. I called and made an appointment the same day, but they told me I was going to be with a senior stylist which put me at ease. I got there and they changed the stylist on me. I asked for one length and my hair is completely choppy. I paid 120.00 to color, deep condition and a hair cut and I feel like I wasted my money. The color didn’t turn out good, it looks completely blotchy. I would have gone back there to have someone fix it, but I moved away from that area. It’s always sketchy trying to find a new hair stylist, just do your research.

I was at this Salon for the first time on 09÷13÷14 and I will definitely go back!
My hair is super curly and long, and it’s always hard to find a place where they will take the time and be patient with my curls. Many times I have been rushed out of the salon because the hair stylist wouldn’t save time enough to wash, deep condition, blow dry and straighten up my hair. So based on my own experience at other Salons I called Hair Addictions, let them know how long my hair was, my past experiences and that I expected their hair stylist to be 3 hours available for me, at least. The lady on the phone was super nice and said they were very experienced with long curly hair. That was nice to hear, but I was still hesitant to adventure myself at a new Salon.
I found this wonderful place using Unilocal.I read about their Brazilian Keratin treatment, that has no harsh chemicals, and decided to go for it! They explained they had a $ 200 dollar promotion going on, and that my treatment could go up to $ 220 depending on how much Keratin Product my hair required. It sounded good to me, based on how long my hair is (see pictures!).
The salon is comfy, the hair stylists are very friendly and as soon as I walked in I was greeted. Soon Angelica met me and gave me a form to fill out. After that we discussed what we would do, and the work got started!
4 hours later my hair was straight, deeply conditioned, trimmed and I was happy. Total cost was $ 210 and I have Angelica a $ 30 tip.
Surprisingly Angelica called me yesterday (09÷17÷14) to ask me how my hair was doing and if I was satisfied. I still need to call her to let her know that she is awesome and that in 4 – 6 months I am coming back! (that’s how long their Brazilian Keratin lasts depending on the type of hair you have).
If you hesitate a lot before taking your curls to a Salon then Hair Addictions is the place for you!

I have to say THE WHOLE TEAM at Hair Addictions is Spectacular!!! I was shy when I arrived but they made me feel comfortable right when I got inside… I hate getting my hair done by strangers because I have long hair and have had in the past bad experiences but my photographer David Art recommended them and I was in love with the results. They switched my hair up and died it a purple color with 8 pick a boo blonde streaks which was a great idea and In the sun it popped!!! My first color in years and I was scared at first but then fell for it right when they styled it for me. Thank you to all the girls!!!

I am a blond and am very picky about my color, highlights, lowlights, toner, etc… I have been to MANY stylists over the years and absolutely have found the BEST in Jessica at Hair Addictions. I went to the salon initially for a consult for hair extensions, and decided to try them. The owner of the salon, Keinya matched my blond hair perfectly. Not only the color was beautifully blended, but it matched the texture of my own hair seamlessly. Next, I decided that since I was going to Hair Addictions for my extensions done, that it would make sense to get my color done there as well. I was a little nervous at first because I AM so picky about my color… however, I was SO happy with the results. Jessica not only gave me perfect color… but believe it or not, some of the tricks of the trade she applied to my color allows me to get my color done every 10 – 12 weeks instead of 4 – 5 weeks!!! This not only saved me time… but money, too… and best of all I LOVE my color and my hair extensions. Jessica does both of them for me now and I am very, very pleased! I highly recommend Hair Addictions for ALL hair types and textures!

I have been going to Jessica for about a year now. I cut my hair short and hated it. So I went to Jessica for extensions and they are AMAZING. couldn’t be happier. And she does color so well! Love love love. I literally get compliments on my hair everywhere I go.

I was a little apprehensive seeing as there are only 2 Unilocal reviews below me, but upon visiting their website I decided it was worth the chance. Their website actually emphasizes curly hair services, which are SO incredibly hard to find in the area, or rather, I haven’t found any salons (besides Hair Addictions Designs) that advertises people who work with curly hair — if you have curly hair, you understand how important this is.
So I called, and spoke with a very, very friendly receptionist (who answered all of my questions), and was booked a consult and haircut for the same day.
My stylist was Angelica. She was very personable and knowledgeable about curly hair management and styling. I’m not your typical curly girl, rather I am biracial (black and Mexican) and have tight, kinky curly hair. Most stylists are intimidated and frightened by it. Angelica displayed confidence — she asked me what I wanted — which was shape. She co-​washed me and conditioned me, and detangled my hair. She put some product in and let me dry under the dryer hood. Then she cut my hair. After the cut, she re-​conditioned and rinsed me to give me that wonderful curl pattern us curlies love so much. :) She put some product in my hair, dried my hair with a diffusing blow dryer, and sent me on my merry way. As the review below says — no one tried to sell me any products.
Despite the fact that there were quite a few African Americans receiving services, I wouldn’t pidgeon hole this place as a black salon. If you have curly hair and are not black, take a chance and go see them! The salon was diverse and there were customers there who had hair completely unlike mine (non-​black customers with very straight hair). So I wouldn’t rule this place out just because your hair may not be just like mine! The haircut was only $ 40, which is probably the cheapest haircut I’ve received yet in the area.

Hair Addictions is my go to spot! They are the most amazing hair stylists hands down. They took my hair from drab to fab! Very personable staff who I can call my good friends now. Keinya makes magic happen and I can’t thank you enough!!! (Jessica, Michelle, and everyone) Anything you dream about with hair, Hair Addictions can make it happen without a doubt. Love you girls! I am a Hair Addict for life — haven’t had a bad hair day since I started going over 5 years ago. Keinya (owner/​head stylist) is a fantastic stylist as are all the ladies in the shop (only the best can work for and with Keinya). Even though I wear a weave, my hair has never been healthier. Keinya prides herself on braiding that works best for your particular hair and style. I would recommend Hair Addictions to anyone. I especially love the diverse clientele and the warm and welcoming nature of Dominique and all the stylist. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT you won’t be sorry.

Saw Jessica to get Japanese straightening done and she did a great job! She was so meticulous making sure my hair came out nice and straight! I’m going back for sure!

This is the WORST salon around! If you make an appointment with the owner, she pushes you off on someone else and doesn’t take care of you at all. They OVERCHARGE you all the time. The owner Keinya ONLY cares about the bottom line. She does NOT care about having loyal customers as long as she gets YOUR money. They misrepresent services all the time and mislead their customers on what they are getting. First example, she told me a brazilian blowout was good for breakage and that the brand they carried DID NOT have formaldehyde in it. LIE! I took a picture of the bottle to prove it. On the bottle it said it contained FORMALDEHYDE. On top of that it made my hair hard, it did not stop any breakage, and my hair FELL OUT! Second example, my job told me I could no longer have red hair and I had to change it back to my normal black hair. I asked her to just dye it back to black since I had recently bleached it to get it red and it was to soon to bleach it again to turn it brown. She told me to pick out a color because she said I came to far to go back. First mistake. I picked a color which only turned my hair to a deep red. Second mistake. Finally she dyed it black and put highlights in it even though I did NOT ask her for them. Third mistake. When it finally came time for me to leave and pay for my hair, she charged me for a FULL COLOR ($ 80) & a COLOR CORRECTION ($ 60). Fourth mistake. This would be my FOURTH bad experience with a HAIR SALON.

I absolutely love my experience every time at this Salon. The customer service is not only great but the technique and experience of the Stylists, especially Keinya, the owner, is top of the line. They truly care whether you leave satisfied and if by small chance that you happen to not be 100% satisfied (which is very rare) they go above and beyond to remedy that. I have such gorgeous and healthy hair now and everyone that I have referred to this salon cannot believe the drastic turnaround of their own hair! The stylists truly get excited when they complete their wonderful makeovers on new clients and they love to continue to please the older clients. I started coming to Hair addictions a little over four years ago, my hair which was shoulder length at the time, was damaged on one side from the excessive use of heat and was overloaded with product from the last hairdresser I had. This made my hair seem so oily and weighted down. I made the decision to try out a weave for the first time to give my hair a short break. I was referred to Keinya by my sister whose hair always looked so beautiful. My only mistake at the time was that I had already bought Indian hair from another salon which would later give me nightmares. The hair was of cheap quality and it tore up in not even a couple of months which was not at the fault at all of Keinya. Even though my weave turned out beautifully from the beginning, the hair I bought wasn’t going to last. Keinya had educated me on her own Indian hair that she orders and let me tell you, this hair is absolutely gorgeous! And boy does it last! Some of the hair I have is over a year old and still looks as gorgeous as the first day it came in! My weaves have always looked so natural and I get so many compliments on it. But what is the best part out of my hair journey is that today my own hair underneath is down to my WAIST! And just as thick and beautiful. I still choose to wear a weave because it is so convenient and I work out so much I don’t want to have to worry about having to flat iron my hair all the time. The reason for my massive hair growth is that Keinya is so experienced and knowledgeable at what she does and she truly cares about people having healthy beautiful hair. So not to get too personal but black women, don’t ever let anyone tell you that We cannot grow our hair long thick and gorgeous, it all depends on whether you have a capable stylist that can educate and deliver superior service like Keinya and her team. Hair Addictions is also multi-​cultural as well. I have seen all races across the board at the salon (which I absolutely love to see) whose hair always comes out looking stunning no matter if it is natural or not, The common denominator is that everyone’s hair is HEALTHY!!! It doesn’t get any better than this. I will be a Hair Addict forever!

Hair Addictions is a small, friendly salon. Even though I’m not the clientele they normally cater to, I felt very welcome. The stylists were friendly, but not pushy. Relaxed atmosphere. My haircut was good, but what I liked best was the total lack of pressure to buy products or schedule my next appointment – that actually makes me more likely to make another appointment.
I received the same quality of product and services without the snooty atmosphere of other downtown hair salons.
