Had a fantastic time at this event. Chevy’s was generous with the food and drink — I discovered a paloma! Really refreshing on a hot summer day: tequila with grapefruit soda. Who would’ve thought that the two would go together so nicely!
Having the managers personally meet & greet us was a bonus! It seems that they genuinely care about the customer experience.
Thanks Unilocal & Chevy’s for the awesome time and generous swag bags! Love the gift that keeps on giving year round: pint o’ salsa and bags o’ chips for twelve months in a row!

We had such a Blast at the 2^nd Livin La Vida Fresca event! The food was fantastic and the staff was unbelievably friendly and fun. There was plenty for chicken skewers, steak skewers, shrimp, and so much more to go around. And when it came to the beverages we were extremely well taken care of!

Yay — an Elite event on my ‘hood!
OMG, what a great event, a second in a series of great events. The food, the drinks, the VENUE — all top notch. We were treated to delicious chicken, shrimp and steak skewers, chicken and shrimp taquitos as well as a special plate of vegetarian nachos made special because I am vegetarian. There were also fantastic drinks — some crazy margarita’s, Corona drinks and even shots! Not to mention, if we asked any of the attentive wait staff for something to drink, they brought it, lickety split.
If you read my other review for the first event, then you may be having déjà vu — not a coincidence. Aside from the venue, it was pretty much the identical event — same food, same drink, just a different manager.
The swag was sweet this time around as well — same swag bag with coupons and goodies, but this time we got a free Unilocal-​a-​licious shot glass!
Go, Alex Go! You are da man!

I was extremely impressed by this Elite event. I’d never been to this location in Rocklin. Imagine Cheesecake Factory meets Chevy’s. It’s a different atmosphere than the rest of the Chevy’s in Sacramento for sure. It’s casual family dining, just nicer. The staff were absolutely fun, friendly, attentive, wonderful, fabulous, and overall amazing! 5 stars for the service! I would hope that the spectacular service is consistent, and wasn’t just overdone for us Unilocalers! Guess that would be a good reason to come back and find out. At least the food was consistent with Chevy’s on the River. They served the same appetizers sans fresh fruit and brownies. They offered the bulldogs with regular, strawberry, midori, and (my fave) watermelon margaritas. Again, fiesta # dos had it going on with the free flowing food and drinks.

Wow! Livin La Vida Fresca Dos was amazing! This was my first event and it totally lived up to all the elite hype.
Chevy’s Rocklin staff was on point. Drinks were free flowing as soon as we checked in and they never stopped. Whether it was the Red Paloma or Regular, Strawberry, Watermelon or Midori flavored Bulldogs, the wait staff never let a moment go by when we didn’t have a drink in front of us. Oh let’s not forget about the el jimador shots served in a Unilocal shot glass! Tasty!!!
The food was equally delish. My favorite was the chicken taquitos but they also had platters of beef, chicken and shrimp skewers, and crab flautas. Plus Chevy’s chip and salsa is sooo addicting.
At the end of the night, they even gave us a little goodie bag with a free chevy’s meal and free chips and salsa for a year!!! Totally over the top! It was great meeting you Alex! You rock! Keep up the awesome job!!! Look forward to meeting more elites next time! Cheers!!!

Damn, Alex L., you must’ve been real busy kickin’ ass & takin’ names when you were putting together Livin La Vida Fresca Dos @ Chevys Rocklin. Because this was a total kick-​ass YEE & I’m beyond stoked that my name was on the list of Elites to attend.
Sacramento YEE’s are some of the best I’ve been to & this 1 was right up there with the rest of the best. The +1 I brought to this YEE is a lifelong friend (since 4^th grade, yo!) who lives in Sac & this was a real eye-​opener for him. He knew about Unilocal but had no idea Elites are livin’ so large!
& how about Chevys?! Wow, you think you already know all about Chevys, but then find out that there’s something new going on & in a big way. Many thanks & much respect to Chevys Rocklin & the whole Chevys crew for practically throwing more delicious new menu items & more new tasty cocktails at all of us Elites than we could keep up with. & doing it all with a smile + fantastic service.

Two down 1 more to go! Of course after Livin la Vida Uno I had to come back for more at Dos! This was my first time visiting the Chevy’s in Rocklin and I’m glad I did!
As always the food and drinks were abundant and the staff provided exceptional service. The appetizers were the same as at the other event and just as good. It was great to see the consistency between the two events and locations. One thing I like about this event was they were offering a variety of bulldog margarita flavors. I’ve always liked the strawberry and discovered I like the midori as well. This location was very clean and they have a small patio for days when you just want to chill outside. This Chevy’s is easy to find– you can see it from he main road. It was nice meeting the manager and assistant manager as we left the event. Thanks to Alex, Dustin and the rest of the Unilocal team and Chevy’s for another fun filled evening!

The Staff were extremely nice. They came to refill our drinks and they always had a big smile on their faces. They also tended to us if we needed small platters. The foods tasted delicious and my favorite was the shrimp skewer and the beef skewer. FOOD DELICIOUS!
The bathrooms reminded me of when I was in France airport bathrooms. The stalls had a lot of coverage. (sorry for observing that. it was just obvious for me.) It was always maintained clean. VERY NICE!
I will definitely return back.

This was a fantastic party to showcase the Chevy’s in Rocklin that most of us did not know even existed, so I appreciated the chance to get acquainted.

EXCELLENT JOB, CHEVYS & Unilocal SACRAMENTO STAFF!
The event was organized, the food & drinks were outstanding and the service was exceptional. I was definitely pleased with the sample of new menu items that Chevys offered. The assorted skewers of chicken, beef & shrimp were presented nicely on pineapples and were all very flavorful. I also enjoyed the chicken taquitos and look forward to having this as my new go-​to item the next time I head over to Chevys again. The servers did a great job keeping up with making the rounds with the drinks and appetizers and were very friendly and generous. I was able to sample all of the beverages and can say that I enjoyed both flavors of the Corona margaritas (Strawberry & regular). This made for a very nice «momma’s night out».
On a side note, this particular Chevys location always has exceptional service and food quality. I was very happy & excited that this was going to be a Unilocal Event venue. They did not disappoint.

I would like to thank the enthusiastic staff. I know that these events are not always the best to work since there is a lot being handed out without seeming like much is given back. You guys and gals were wonderful; you handled requests pleasantly, and were always cheerful. Service like that earns great respect, and returning customers. Thank you all.
Thank you to the Chevy’s management for letting us come in, take over a large portion of the real estate and thank you for providing adequate and cheerful professional staff. The food was excellent; the drinks were well made. You guy’s hit it out of the park. I am confident you earned the business of many.

This was my first Elite event and it was awesome! The food was great as was the service. Drinks were rockin’! Me and my guest had a great time and went home happy if not a bit stuffed. The goodie bag had some cool stuff in it. Can’t wait to go back to Rocklin and have a full meal. I hope next week is half as good this one.

(1) SERVICE: WOW, WOW, WOAH! BEST SERVICE EVER! Even tops Gary Danko’s service! Super cool servers! Came around and bought us food… and more food… and drinks… and more drinks. Man! I didn’t even have to ask… they are MIND-​BLOWING-​READERS! WOW! They read my facial expression (more food, more drinks, yeahhh!) I would love to give a shout-​out to a few people, but I lost my notes! I had all these cool servers on my misplaced list. Sorry guys! And for amazing-​service … 5 stars and beyond!
(2) FOOD:
(i) Nachos-​and-​dip: dude, for realz? Thin and crispy… just the way I like it! 5 stars!
(ii) Chicken-​on-​a-​stick: … and with the mango chunks. 5 stars!
(iii) Beef-​on-​a-​stick: Juicy! Juicy! Juicy! This is my favorite!!! Can’t figure out what this is called… someone tell me please? I’m definitely coming back… just for these! 5 stars!
(iv) Shrimp-​on-​a-​stick: loveee it too! 5 stars!
(3) DRINKS:
(i) Bulldog Margaritas: my two favorites… strawberry and watermelon! This is the coolest thing ever!!! It was like a margarita with extra beer-​booze! Man, I’m going to do that for all my drinks from now on out! Forget double-​fisting! It’s now quadruple-​fisting! Yeahh!!!
(ii) SHOTS, SHOTS, SHOTS! Lots of shots with cool people… made my night… and of course, the two amazing drink pourer girls… they kept on pouring!
**OVERALL: ROCKLIN CHEVYS … INCREDIBLE PEOPLE, FOOD, AND ESPECIALLY… SERVICE! 5 STARS AND BEYOND!

Service was awesome! The drinks were plentiful, I wish I didnt have to drive. The only knock was the food. It came all at the same time with long periods in between.
It was excellent when it came though! It was all good. Couldnt even pick a favorite.

Unbelievable! Did I die and go to heaven??? Did I fall asleep and wake up in a fantastic dream? Nope!!! I found myself at the Livin’ La Vida Dos @ Chevys in Rocklin. Sure glad I decided to go. Since I live in Elk Grove, I hesitated on making the trek all the way to Rocklin. Glad I did. This Unilocal event was the «bomb»!!! Thanks Alex for creating another fantastic event for us… Can it get any better than «free margaritas, tequila shots, and free food»!!!
Got there a little early and after registering, I parked myself on a table however as I found out later, a little too far from the kitchen where the food came out. I didn’t even get a chance to sit down and found two servers handing me «bulldog» margaritas. Could you believe that? I had two of them puppies in front of me before I took my seat. The rest of my group settled in and «here comes the food»!! And did it come! Server after server parading around our tables with a food assortment that only a Chevys could produce. The skewers of BBQ’d beef and shrimp were outstanding and I definitely had more than my share of both. The taquitos or whatever were delicious also, especially the red ones. Too many bulldogs will cloud your memorization of what you are eating… hahaha!
Meeting and making new friends is another aspect of these great Unilocal events. Met some new people and also saw some of the older friends and even some friends from years ago who were guests. Just had a super great time and wished it didn’t end!
Besides eating and drinking to our heart’s content, the service was impeccable. As soon as you finished your drinks, the servers were bringing you another and another and another. Same goes for the food and this is the only event where you eventually say «no thank you» to the drinks and food being offered to you.
I can’t wait until the next Chevy’s Livin’ La Vida Fiesta… Whoops! I don’t have to wait too long. Chevy’s Livin’ La Vida Tres @ Chevy’s Elk Grove is next Wednesday… See you all there… «mi amigos»!!!

Damn, Chevy’s know show to treat customers well. I also went to Chevy’s Uno and the downtown location definitely had this one beat (river locale is and will always be #1), but Chevy’s Dos in Rocklin was super fantástico!
You had to get lucky and grab a booth/​table, but the employees (again fantastic — where does Chevy’s find such friendly, outgoing people?) made sure you weren’t forgotten by bringing out meat/​shrimp skewers, taquitos and flautas. and (one server (Brando! =) even brought me) brownies!
The drinks were again so wonderful. I took (too?) many. The margaritas came in so many cool favors — more than for party uno. I was especially a fan of the watermelon margarita. Perfect for a summer night.
Chevy’s again impresses. I am not the sort who like chains or their «produced» food, but gosh darn it, Chevy’s is winning me over since I am a big sucker for those that try and Chevy’s is definitely trying. They are going over and beyond to get me to be a repeat customer by 1) being fantastic at the Unilocal event and 2) providing a free meal in the goody bag (!). So yes, you win, Chevy’s, I’ll definitely be returning. Me and my Unilocal buddies are coming for you, your bull dogs and your yummy, yummy flautas. Nos vemos!

Just got back from the event. Thank you mom for driving me. I drank a lot, because there was as many drinks as the last event! Thank You Alex L. for organizing the event, because it seemed like everybody had a good time and was inebriated. Thanks to the Chevys staff too because they were constantly bringing out food/​drinks and relieving our table of empty glasses.
I’m glad I came early and grabbed a handful of crab and shrimp flautas because they are DELICIOUS. The crab flatuas melted in my mouth along with the cheese. BBQ steak skewers were as tender and chewy as always, and shrimp skewers were savory and enjoyable. Drinks on the other hand, were so good I had multiples of each! I even got to try the midori and strawberry versions of the bulldog. Both settled amazingly well in my stomach. I was looking for brownies, since the ones at the last event was freaking moist and tasted like heaven! Too bad there was none. Instead, there were shots. You get a shot glass for every shot that you took, and I got like 4… only because I kept taking shots with all the new people I met! Friendly Unilocalers make for a good time.
Overall, fun event! Servers were great at refilling drinks and taking away empty. On top of that, they were also fun to talk and hang out with! If they make Unilocalers happy, we’re all happy. Good job everyone!

This was my very first Elite event. Everything was all I could ask for and then some. These event are great! Alex is a very cool person. It was nice to finally meet him. He does a great job.
As for Chevy’s, everything and everyone were amazing. From the food to the service it was all above par. I also got to meet some Elite Unilocaler who were all nice people. As all Unilocaler are. I have to say the manager, assistant manager and all the servers/​wait staff were great. The customer service was stellar.
We were given unlimited alcohol and some great tapas. from skewers to taquitos and flatuas. I was in heaven.
After this experience I’m definitely looking forward to the next event and i recommend that everyone become Unilocaler. To the Unilocalers who are already Elite. Keep it up.
Best Chevy’s In California!!!

Chevy’s is amazing. They really embraced the concept of the Unilocal event– make the people happy, and they will promote your business well. The servers were friendly and smiling and bringing on the Margaritas nonstop! What’s not to love?
We sampled Watermelon margaritas, Midori bulldog margarita (upside down Corona added), El Jimador Red Paloma cocktail, and El Jimador silver tequila shots. For food, taquitos, shrimp, chicken and steak skewers and of course, Chevy’s legendary chips and salsa. If the shrimp skewers are not on the new menu, they certainly should be. A Santa fe chopped salad with garlicky shrimp skewers would be my go-​to meal. Great drinks, food, and fantastic service. My favorite Unilocal event yet.

Just got back from the event, yeah a bit early but we are old working people… nevertheless, the hubby and I had a really great time at our first Unilocal Elite event!
The food and drinks were plentifull and we came home happy.
We especially liked the shrimp flautas which a most wonderful server named James explained to us were part of the happy hour menu.
We also had beef, shrimp and chicken skewers, chicken taquitos, chips and salsa and DRINKS!
The drinks included some very smooth tequila shots, my husband went to the table to get them and couldn’t remember the brand but it was the white stuff and very smooth, nice! They also served bull dogs which is a small corona tipped upside down into a margarita flavor of your choice. And a pomegranite juice drink but I can’t remeber the name of it…
Our stand out servers for the night were James, Kelly and Kimberly along with all the rest who kept our needs met.
Our goodies bags we got on the way out have cool Chevy’s stuff in them and a free dinner and drink coupon! How did we get so lucky?
