I felt the need to leave a counter to the 2-​star review on this nail salon. If a business has great service and a great product (which the degrading reviewer confirmed in her review) I don’t think that business deserves such a negative rating. I wanted you to know, dear reader, how good this place is, because this fine establishment is conveniently located to my home and I want them to stay there!
Anyway, I thought the store looked spotlessly clean when I visited, including the product shelves, chairs, and work stations, which complemented the friendly service and efficient but relaxing pedicure, which I thoroughly enjoyed. My technician did a beautiful job on my feet and I will most definitely be a repeat customer! I walked in early on a Friday and was seated and treated promptly. I only wish I’d had time for a gel mani as well!

My review is in response to Christie J’s crappy review she left. Don’t know where she’s from or what kind of salons she visits, but I’ve been going to Suns for the past year now because of how awesome they are. Customer service, cleanliness and willing to go above and beyond to have you leave there happy with the services they provide. As far as the décor… It’s a nail salon not a lounge or hangout. There’s pleasant music, television comfortable seating and smiling faces what more do you need?!? The only «dust» that’s in the salon is from when someone is in the process of getting there nails done, which is cleaned up after every customer. Bathroom is spotless and so is everything else there. Otherwise I wouldn’t go there myself, and it’s not close to where I live I might add!!! When you get regular nail polish it always has the possibility to chip or wear a lot sooner then gel. So your fault for going the cheaper route Christie… I personally love it there and they wouldn’t have all the awesome reviews they have if they weren’t the best! To Kevin and the rest of Sun nail salon crew you guys are awesome and the best at what you do keep up the good work! Thank you for your great customer service and friendly environment.

I’m new to the area and saw the great reviews on Unilocal for this place so I decided to try it out. Here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
— Pleasant experience — was helped right away
— Lady who did my manicure and pedicure was super nice and took her time
— Can’t beat the price!
Cons:
— Salon was nice inside but nothing exceptional
— I noticed items like shelves and desks to be really dusty (then I started thinking if that’s how «clean» those items are — how clean are the nail clippers, etc.)
— I didn’t get shellac on my nails; however, in the past with many salons my polish has stayed put for a week at least and after this session my nails started chipping on day 2 (and I was on vacation not doing any type of tasks that would make them chip more easily)
I’d say the customer service was good but due to their standard of «clean» and that my nails didn’t last long at all, I will not be coming back.

I like nothing more than writing great reviews for businesses. Unfortunately, I feel equally committed to commenting on my recent experience here despite the fact that it is not the popular view of this establishment.
I called and reserved a time to have a pedicure. Arrived five minutes early and could see the place was busy. No worries. Was brought to a seat so I could soak my feet until someone could tend to me. Still no worries. Twenty-​five minutes later, I was still waiting, only the water was cold. A woman finally came over to me, acknowledged the long wait and cold water I had to tolerate. I still had my patient hat on – until she rushed through my pedicure, finishing in twenty minutes. Every pedicure I have ever had typically takes 45 minutes to an hour.
I won’t be back because of the lack of customer service. When my wait time lasts longer than the pedicure itself, it is time for me to look somewhere else.

This is my favorite nail salon now. I was honestly fed up with mediocre places who rush me and I don’t end up with what i want. This place though. first impression was it was very open and big which felt better than my basic little hole in the wall i had been going to. The décor is very nice, and the station was clean. I made an appointment with kevin. He is a nail guru! the shape, hand painted details and rhinestones he suggested were flawless. everyone was and friendly and the price is good. I won’t be going anywhere else from now on! this is where i put my pedicured foot down! Lol love sun nails!

I have been a few times now and thought Sun Nails is amazingly friendly with a talented staff. This last time Leena and Kevin did an amazing job on my nails. I wanted a fun red, white and blue theme for memorial day. They knocked it out of the park with what they did. I highly recommend going to Sun Nails.

I walked into this place for my first time at a very busy hour & they took me in so quickly! They are all so friendly & nice & just want you to have a relaxing time. I will be making this my home salon. Its VERY clean! They used all packaged new tools while doing my nails. its really a GREAT place!

I liked this place. The people were friendly and my nails looked good. The lines and wait were extremely long otherwise this would have been my spot.

Went here cause the reviews were good and they are they are great I’m very picky with my nails and oh Kevin did a GREAT job and my friend also did a pedicure and she loved it also!

Had an appointment with Kevin he’s great and was very friendly! I started with a new set and went with a sparkling silver ring finger and bright matte pink coffin nail after I left the color set in funny so I called and asked if I could came back and change it kevin was sweet and re did it also turned other clients away to do so that’s great customer service! And my nails look great, best nail place I have been to in the area! Also got a pedi and it felt amazing could have fallen asleep! The staff was also sweet! Thanks kevin!

The ABSOLUTE BEST nail salon I’ve been to. We went in at 6:30 before closing and we were greeted with a smile and they were happy to help us. I’ve never been somewhere so genuine. Kevin the store owner was hilarious and did AMAZING with my nails. He made us feel so welcome and I will make the 2 hour drive just to have him do my nails. I am so incredibly impressed with the service and my nails.
We also got our eye brows done by a sweet lady and I don’t know her name but she was so sweet and kept telling us how she was making us beautiful. And she gave us a hug on the way out. I wish I could give them 100 stars!

Today was my first time when I went to this salon. I looked this salon up on Unilocal and saw really good reviews, and the guy named Kevin got a lot of nice friendly comment and how good he is! I asked for him to do my nails (even tho I never went to this salon and I decided to trust the comments) and he is such s sweet heart. He was extremely friendly and did an amazing job on my nails as you can see! I am strongly recommending this salon guys! the staff are so friendly and the salon was pretty clean and peaceful. Strongly recommend Kevin!!! He is the best.

Great experience! So friendly, clean, attention to details. The foot massage was excellent and they took their time in making sure we were comfortable! We will be back!

I love this place! They are clean and always friendly. They are super artistic. Mia is my favorite, she is so sweet and does excellent work. I have been going to them for a while and will continue to do so! I highly recommend them!

This is my new go-​to nail salon. I don’t remember the name of the woman who did my nails the first time, but she was very nice and did a good job. The other day I went in to get a fill on my coffin shape acrylics. Ben did an amazing job! I will continue to go to him.

I went in about ten days ago for my first ever set of pink and white acrylics. I’m pretty picky because I’ve done my own nails since I was a teenager (I’m 52 now) and even learned how to do my own gel nails at home. But the time and effort to get gel polish off at home is just too time consuming. And by the time I’ve got it off, I’ve broken three nails!
My mom keeps telling me to go acrylic and I finally listened! I looked to Unilocal for good reviews and decided to give Sun Nails a try. I made an appointment and they were ready for me right on time. Kevin did my nails and was very detail-​oriented and very pleasant to chat with during my manicure. I waited about ten days before writing this review to see how they would hold up and they’re doing great! I’ve gotten salon gel manicures that haven’t held up well, so it’s a pleasant surprise that acrylic is more durable.
My nails grow out pretty fast, so I figure I’ll be needing a fill by about 2.5 — 3 weeks on average (remember I’m picky), which is about what Kevin said most people need. The pricing seems fair and competitive, the salon is in a nice area, very spacious, well lighted, and clean. All pluses!
All in all, hopefully I’ve found my first (and last) nail salon all in one. Thanks Kevin!

Love this place! Kevin is very kind and his nail work is Perfect with a capital P. I’ve never seen someone pay so much attention to detail. The salon is very organized and clean. Everyone is so friendly as well. They make you feel right at home. Prices are also great. I recommend this nail salon to those who want great service, great prices and great nails.

The owner Kevin is very rude and acts like you are unimportant, he gets frustrated when more people come in to get their nails done and then rushes on your nails. I had my nails done by one of the girls and she did a terrible job doing the acrylics that the next day it literally cracked in half.
