The Madison Theatre

This is a very nice venue located at the Molloy College campus.
Brian Culbertson’s 2015 smooth jazz tour passed through here and I’m a huge fan of his, so Noemi treated me to an early birthday present.
The space is fairly modern (it’s only a few years old) and comfortable.
We had great seats in the mezzanine, giving us a fantastic view of the stage and the show. The acoustics in the venue are very good, maybe even too good. And the staff and everyone involved in hosting and managing the events that come through here are all very friendly and professional.
Thumbing through their event flyers, they have a lot of really cool performances and quite a few big name acts coming through here. Attracts mostly a nicer, more relaxed and more mature crowd so that pleases me as well.
Overall I really enjoyed the show… I mean it’s Brian Culbertson, you can’t not enjoy one of his shows. Incredible talent if you know his music and incredible energy. And I really like the venue.
We’ll definitely be coming to more events here in the future.

This newly built theatre is gorgeous. Everything is brand new, state of the art, and reminiscent of a broadway theatre. With so many shows coming up, I’ll be a regular patron in no time!
