My wife and I had one of the best massages here and at a terrific price. Our massage therapists knew what they were doing, and really worked our muscles in the right spots. We would definitely go back, and recommend it to others.

Deep tissue. they were completely thorough and knowledgable and you could tell they have a lot of experience. the place was comfortable and clean and the music was very relaxing and Joyce and Sue were so nice and a pleasure to meet. We will most certainly be back! and it’s great they are open late, too.

Sue gave me one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve ever had. This place is not fancy, but you don’t pay fancy prices either. The price is very reasonable, and the establishment is neat, clean, and practical. I’ll definitely be back!

I hate frou-​frou massages. Have had them at fancy spas and hotels around the country and always leave unsatisfied, lightly petted, aromatherapied and a little moisturized but not relaxed or relieved of my deep muscle tension. Give me a mall massage any day for real treatment of aches and pains. And the mall was where I was heading today when I woke up after a camping trip with frozen shoulders and an aching head. I knew that twenty minutes away I could slip into an empty storefront and be rubbed to death while listening to screaming kids frolic at the Wheaton Mall playland or Montgomery Mall Old Navy.
But something made me search Unilocal on my way to said mall and I found myself in the greatest place on earth — a clean place with an awesome heavy deep tissue massage, walk-​ins welcome, comfy beds and affordable pricing. For the same price as the aformentioned massage ($ 40 for 30 minutes) and far closer to home (smack between Jews for Jesus and Isabella spa on Nebel street, so close to the White Flint Metro) is Best Spa, where I was able to lay under warm sheets and be massaged unencumbered by shirt or bra. Joyce was my masseuse, she is perfect, applies great pressure. She rubbed my back/​head and arms into submission and and finished with a hot towel. And when in a fit of pain/​pleasure I asked her to add on 30 minutes to further ease my tight muscles/​headache, she suggested it would be better to come back the following day. Which I will indeed!
I left with less pain and no headache. Seriously, the best massage of my life. And yes, my muscles tightened up again as they are wont to do after a massage. But I’ll be back as long as this pain lasts. And it will be worth it, feel great, and cost less than a chiropractor or physical therapy copay!

They lie about pricing! Over the phone they told me $ 50 for 1 hour of acupressure. When I. showed up they told me $ 60 and denied telling me $ 50 when I scheduled an appointment and gave my name. «Then she said okay $ 50 for 50 minutes.» Obviously they thought I was an idiot who doesn’t understand math.
I wasted my time coming here.
UPDATE: I was not aware that the owner of the business replied to my message in such an unprofessional tone. To answer what seems to have been intended as a rhetorical question, YES I have come across a LICENSED MT in Maryland who charges $ 49 (!) for Acupressure. In fact, they’re called MASSAGE SPRING SPA and they’re located near your establishment. I went in for a wonderful 60 minute massage right after leaving your pathetic excuse for a business.
Oh, and while I’m at it, might I also point out that on YOUR Unilocal page YOUR business specialities are quoted as «We offer professional Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage, as well as Chinese style ACUPRESSURE, Foot Reflexology, and Tibetan Foot Bath». I also see that you, Joyce, are «trained in Traditional Chinese Tui Na/​ACUPRESSURE». OH, and I also read that you «started as a CHINESE ACUPRESSURE spa at 2012». AND, please see Jessie B’s review from 2013 below, where she stated «$ 50 for an hour». Hmmm, so your price has been «firm for years», is that right???

Perfection. I have a lot of upper back tightness and have been feeling it more intensely lately due to a new workout regimen. I needed some serious work on my upper back and my favorite place recently closed. I went here yesterday afternoon based on Unilocal reviews and was not disappointed. Joyce fit me in last minute and I am so grateful. I hate that feeling when you spend a ton of money on a «meh» massage and this was the opposite feeling. Joyce focused on my trouble area and exceeded my expectations. She literally put all of her strength into working out my knots and relieved much of my tightness. While it’s not fancy, it’s clean and is certainly one of the best massages I have ever had. And I’ve been to a lot of places over the years. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This place is very good! I had Joyce for a 30 minute massage. I came in with a migraine from muscle tension and left with no headache. She listened to my needs and concentrated on my problem area and worked in a healing way. Will definitely come back. Good pricing.

I have been looking for a place exactly like this. I used to live in nyc and places like this were everywhere. 50 for an hour and you get your own room. There is nothing fancy about this place but they give a good massage. The style of massage is rather hard but you feel great after. Definitely going here again.

Hmm. Came here in a jam b/​c it was a holiday and Happy feet was closed. Something seems off about this place, just get a weird vibe. They have signs posted in the massage rooms about no unlawful activity.

I am REALLY picky about my massages. As a Chinese woman with all but one of my family members still in China, and ¹⁄₃ of them in the health-​care industry, I grew up with my fair share of massages, acupuncture, and alternative methods. This place is the ONLY place I go to for massages and reflexology in the DMV. I still can’t get over how great of a deal it is. It’s SO affordable and SO much better than those so called «reflexology» place around here which really don’t do any real reflexology.
Joyce is the lady that picks up all the calls. She is the BEST so request her when you can. Her English isn’t the best so don’t expect a conversationalist, but you can explain to her your ailments and she will work her magic. This place is also equipped for shiatsu-​style stepping (where they walk on your back) which is available upon request. DISCLAIMER: I like VERY strong massages. If you want someone who will hit all the right acupressure points, take weight off your shoulders, and give years back to your life, Joyce is your lady! But as with any good establishment, they can adjust their strength if you want something gentler.
Also, be respectful. This is not a rub-​n-​tug place so please don’t ask. I was there one time when Joyce answered a call. The guy on the other end asked: «Are the ladies that work there young or old? Young being around 24 and old being around 35 – 40.» I was shocked. This is a legitimate place and they will take offense to that. Who wouldn’t?

Just down the way from White Flint mall, down the street from La-​Z-​Boy. This is an amazingly friendly establishment by a lovely Chinese couple. They have amazing prices: 60 dollars for an hour acupressure massage. Massage is much like deep tissue, but focuses on certain pressure points. The massage is intense but relaxing. They are extremely thorough and work hard on your muscles. Anywhere else, deep tissue massages go for 100+ for one hour, and many times dissapoint. I cannot say enough about this little place. It’s a joy! Plus, for every 10 massages you get 1 free!
