Dr Spivak is a happy husband and a father of an awesome daughter Felicity and fabulous son Aden. He has earned his BA in Biological Sciences from SUNY at Buffalo and then went on to complete his dental training at the prestigious SUNY at Buffalo, School fo Dental Medicine in 2002. He has completed an advanced training in dental implants and dental implant restorations. Dr Spivak is dedicated to providing you and your family with the latest in general and cosmetic dental care.

Great experience!!! Dr. Spivak and Debbie are so friendly and very informative. As soon as I walked in the office, I was greeted by both Debbie and Dr. Spivak. I’ve never experienced a dentist that doesn’t just sit in his office when he doesn’t have patients. I arrived 10 minutes early so I could fill out the mountain of paperwork I thought I would encounter. 2 sheets and that’s it. As soon as I was done I was quickly walked in the back. I was very nervous because it had been about a year and a half since I’d been to the dentist. Don’t judge me lol. They both made me feel so comfortable and walked me through every step of the appointment. Before I knew it, we were done. I felt like a superstar!

dr. spivak and his assistant debbie clearly know what they’re doing! they were very attentive to me as a patient and i feel that they were being honest about my options rather than trying to push me into a more expensive option. i was told what was and wasn’t necessary and i found that very refreshing! the two are very funny when they get together and make everything seem casual and friendly. dr. spivak and his assistant joked several times that he was very willing to work with patients but it seems to be the truth. there were some awkward point but when someone is probing around in your mouth that’s bound to happen. my cleaning went very well and my teeth felt shiny and new afterwards. what i really enjoyed is that dr. spivak taught me the proper way to floss so as not to irritate my gums so i’ve been doing it that way ever since! overall, great experience and i plan on continuing to see them!

To say that this office is excellent is a complete understatement. I had not been to the dentist in several years (this is being conservative.) I was incredibly nervous, and on the verge of tears. Dr. Spivak and Debbie were so kind and gentle. They made the experience pain-​free. Dr. Spivak walked me through everything that he was doing, thoroughly explained the condition of my teeth, and what I need to do moving forward. Additionally, the office is incredibly clean. I could not be more grateful to Dr. Spivak and Debbie, as they made me actually HAPPY to go to the dentist. I look forward booking an appointment in the future. I recommend this office with the highest of regards.

Dr. Spivak was great he got an impacted wisdom tooth out in like less than 3 minutes, that’s got to be some sort of record. I had hardly any discomfort during the procedure. He also got it out in one piece, the last time I got a tooth extracted they broke it in my jaw and removed it in pieces (@ Bethesda Chevy Chase Dental… don’t go there!!!) After he was done I asked about pain pills because you always need pain pills after an extraction and he said I didn’t need them… I was skeptical but said ok. I didn’t have any swelling and any pain that ibuprofen couldn’t handle. It’s been 2 weeks and i’m pretty much all healed with no complications. Debbie (his assistant) is also very friendly and nice. I highly recommend this place if you need a tooth pulled.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Spivak for cleaning today. Great dentist, uses upto date technology, showed me how to floss properly — something my previous doctors never bothered educating me. Dental health education focused and entertaining.

I honestly do not think of Dr. Spivak as just a good dentist. He does treat his patient with utmost respect and care. I do think of him as a very trusted family person. I have been going to Doctor Spiavk fo over a year. For the first year, he did not accept the insurance I had. He, though, did teeth cleaning and several consultation free of charge. For the first time ever, I go to a dentist and not even question his intentions. He will givehis professional advice regardless of financial returns to him and will also refer you to other specialists for second opinions. Dr. Spivak will explain anything you ask about as if you were a dental school student. I honestly do not think there is a dentist in the area that comes close to Dr. Spivak in term of professionalism, care, and skills. I highly recommend him for anyone. My mother will be flying all the way up from Florida to see Dr. Spivak. This is how good this guy is.

Dr. Spivak gave me a wonderful experience at his office. I had my first crown put in along with a cleaning. The office went the extra mile to have the crown made a week earlier so that I can leave on time for my vacation, which was greatly appreciated. I highly would recommend his office for most dental procedures (implants, crowns, fillings etc.), based on my visits there. Don’t hesitate to go with him as your personal dentist — he comes with great experience, a pleasant office environment, and a side of great humor!

I had an implant placed an the whole procedure was smooth, painless and well explained. Dr. Spivak makes you feel comfortable and treats you like a patient and not like a customer.
