Giant Food Inc and Giant Drug

This is a large, seemingly fairly new Giant Store, bright and clean. In front of the store the selection of annuals in baskets and pots was fantastic. The general layout of this Giant is a little different from what I’ve seen in their other stores. Produce was spread out as we entered but dairy was spread all the way along the back of the store near the meat section. The produce all looked fresh. There was a nice selection of everything, they even had beer battered McCain French fries! My main problem with this store is they don’t have the self-​scanners that you can use as you shop. I have arthritis in multiple places (back and ankle) and standing in line is not easy. The scanners let me check-​out so easily and quickly.
