My first time, I was walk in. The worst pedicure ever. Had it done Thursday and Friday the polish is already chipping. She rushed thru it, did not care if I would be a return customer ever. I gave her $ 5 tip but I wish I wouldn’t have. I will never go back. If you a want a good pedicure go to Blue Water spend another $ 15, mine last 3 weeks or more.
BTW — TWO WEEKS LATER…2 TOENAILS FELL OFF!!! Grew back but that has never happened to be before and I’ve been getting pedicures for years. BEWARE BEWARE

This place has changed management several times over the past few years, so I’m not sure any older reviews are still accurate. I got two gel manicures and one pedicure here (The Randolph rd salon) in the past month and both were very nice experiences. They use finger-​less gloves on my hands prior to using the drying machines, to prevent unnecessary exposure to the rays. Very thoughtful and the only salon I’ve ever seen use them. The place is pretty and looks clean. The massage chairs are in good shape and the massager actually works, unlike so many other places I’ve been. Staff is efficient. Price is good. I will return.

This place is right near the Giant so I thought I’d give it a try. Waited almost an hour. Charged $ 35. For a «salon pedicure» that is just the basic everywhere else I go. Polish looks fine, but the guy smokes between clients (yuck!) and the place is just dirty. When I took off the little slippers, to put on my shoes, I saw the cloth slippers had collected a Matt of long black hair tangled around my toes!!! Gross! Never again.

I got a manicure with Lin (sp?) on Saturday and it’s already in bad shape. The polish was not applied evenly, she seemed rushed, and the station was greasy from the previous customer. My nail polish is already chipping and I’ve got more than a few cuticle issues.
This is truly a bummer because this salon is within walking distance from my home and now I’ll have to travel farther away to get a quality manicure.

New management! I recently resumed patronage at Lifestyles since my gotos (Kelly and Leigh) left and I had a few bad experiences. I have to say that I am once again pleased with the service and cleanliness. I now see Lim and she has proved to be very good and precise at making sure my gel manicure is perfect! She applies an OPI conditioner before the Gelish to protect my nails. I also believes this helps prevent chipping. I’m 6 days in to my latest manicure and it still looks good with NO chipping. And while we know the downside of beautiful gels (removing it!), she is very careful in removing its remnants. I would recommend you try them out/​give the a second chance.

My go-​to place. If you are in the lookout for a great technician for an excellent manicure, pedicure or eyebrows wax… Look no more.
Ann is amazing, she is professional, sweet, accommodating and extremely talented… You won’t regret it!
The salon is nice and spacious, people there are nice and very welcoming!

Haven’t been back there in months. All I know is never let a man do your nails! There’s only one guy there and he likes to smoke while waiting for your nails to be dry I order to put the top coat. He’d come back and continue without washing his hands. Horrible horrible service.
On the side note: you do get what you pay for. It’s cheap and also it looks cheap!

This place is terrible! Never ever ever go here. I’ve been getting my eyebrows waxed there for a very long time. This time the burnt a ripped all my skin off. It felt like it was on fire and I am still in so much pain. Cover up doesn’t help becasuse it stings your face and I can’t wash my face either because that stings to much also. I hope it doesn’t scar and now I have to go get it treated for a first degree burn. The people said nothing about it and would not give a refund. They obviously know nothing about customer service.

I’ve been to this salon before and the man did a great job. One tech gave me a manicure while the other tech gave me a pedicure at the same time; both did a horrible job. I also had to apply my own top coat on my hands and toes because she just left me at the pedicure chair.

It’s a shame I’m writing this review as I’ve been coming to this salon for over a year. They do a good job and the price is great. However, after today I won’t be coming back. I had an appointment for acrylics because they couldn’t get me in the day before. The tech was painfully slow and kept walking away to talk to other techs. When I finally mentioned that I had to go to work she started working at a much quicker pace, but in all it took her an hour and 45 minutes to finish my nails. Additionally, she cut one of my cuticles and charged me more than I’ve ever been charged at this salon. (And I’ve gotten acrylics here before.) I was pretty disgusted with the whole experience. In a town where you can throw a rock and hit a nail salon I would hope they’d be a little more professional and conscious of the time. I’ll be taking my money elsewhere from now on.

Love this place! Ann is an AMAZING nail tech. I have had acrylic nails for 8 years and took them off for the first time in forever I came here to get the gel polish and I love it! Ann seriously is amazing. And they are cheap too! A pedi with paraffin wax and a nice massage is only 25! And gel Polish is only 29! I feel like that is an amazing price. There are tons of people who work here so there is never a wait. But if you want Ann to do your nails I would call and make an appointment.

I reviewed another nail salon a couple of months ago, which is a good nail salon. However, this place takes the gold! I’m a huge manicure/​pedicure person and I enjoy pampering myself and making sure that my paws look nice at all times. I’m always on the hunt for a great nail salon that offers, great efficient service as well as ambiance. I read a couple of earlier reviews about this place and much of it was negative. This salon is under new management and has been renovated completely. The inside is beautiful and spacious– and most importantly, CLEAN! They offer you water while you get serviced and they have a nice variety of polish colors and brands. My favorite nail techs are Kelly and Tony. They take their time and have great attention to detail. The prices here are also very reasonable and they also offer a lot of discounts and coupons! After your service they usually hand you a ton of coupons for your next visit and you can usually find them on their website too. I tend to get the gel manicure and no joke, it lasts over two weeks! I highly recommend this place and if you’re looking for a place to get your nails done, look no further!

I received a coupon for a $ 10 pedicure after coming a few times. This coupon has no expiration date. I come back three weeks later, and they tell me that they can’t honor it — for absolutely no reason at all. When I asked why, they just said «sorry, we can’t accept». No compromise, no offer for anything else. So they just lost a customer.

I went here the day before my graduation and got a gel manicure for the first time. Le was amazing! She was so careful and made my nails look great. I decided to get a pedicure too and that was even more amazing! They just installed new massage chairs which were so comfortable and it was nice to be at a salon where that amenity actually works. My gel polish is still going strong at the two week mark! On a few of my fingers the gel has become loose at the base so I’m going to need to take it off soon. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is because of the price. But service wise it couldn’t be better !

Excellent service! Highly recommend!
It is pretty cheap: $ 54 for a spa pedi and gel manicure, staff is very attentive and friendly, not pushing extra services unlike other places. On top of that, they gave me a ton of coupons and a free OPI nail polish. Isn’t it awesome? I will definitely go back!

OK, I am taking 1 star away: 2^nd time turned into an endless disappointment. If you go there, don’t let any man working there touch your nails or — God forbid! — eyebrows. I ended up with a bright red nail polish all over my brand new J. Crew pants. And, left the place mad after paying for the services and leaving $ 0 tip. Had to re-​do my nails at home.
Next time I went, the same guy was annoying me with his questions. I did not understand a word but I said, no, sorry, I don’t want your services, I want someone else to take care of my nails. He kept asking something, and I just had no choice but to ignore him and wait for the manager to approach us and ask what’s going on in English. I explained that last time the guy messed up my nails and I want someone else to do my mani-​pedi. She nodded and assigned Ann, a young lady, who ended up doing a very good job. Ann is VERY accurate and friendly. I highly recommend her!

Think twice before going to Lifestyle Nail Spa…
Lifestyle is under new management & the staff is all new. I’ve been going to Lifestyle for the last 4 years, but tonight will be my last time. I’ve even brought my book club here for group pedis for 12 people. Tonight everything changed drastically. I got the absolute worst pedicure of my entire life this evening. The whole thing took 15 mins. A deluxe spa pedicure in 15 mins. LAUGHABLE. Basically all the guy did was to put some lotion on my calves & massage them for a few saeconds, then slap some polish on my toes & stick me under the nail dryer. To say I was in shock was an understatement. Also, it was dirty and there was a dead cockroach near the pedi chair platform. There are too many other nail salons in Rockville to waste time in this place again. I won’t recommend Lifestyle and we’ll go elsewhere for our group pedis.

I love a good pedi, this place rushes you through. In order to have a good pedicure you have to let your feet soak to soften up the skin and nails. I had just put my feet in the basin for a moment and the guy pulled my foot out.
It is very clean and reasonably priced but don’t rush me!

I had to edit my review. I gave it 3 stars before and said I wouldn’t recommend to a friend. But I have to say, definitely changed my mind!
4 stars. I specifically request Edith to do my nails. I’ve gotten 1 pedi, 2 gel manis, and 1 french mani from her. Her work is outstanding and she is so sweet. The price of this place is phenom. $ 25 gel mani! My pedi looked brand new for like 3 weeks. Happily willing to recommend to friends, and I have!

I only came to this salon due to a friends recommendation, she gets her gel nail polish manicure’s here. The price of $ 25 is phenomenal. I have gone 3 times for a gel manicure (not your typical gel nails, this is just a gel nail polish). Their gel pedicure is either $ 30 or $ 35.
The first time was great, I chose OPI’s Lincoln Park after Dark (very dark purple) and it lasted 14 days, it was shiny and beautiful.
The second time I chose IBD Gelac in Pink Wink (a very light pink) and it didn’t last more than one day. Can’t say it was the nail technician (older woman) or the ibd is just some crap. They close early and I couldn’t go back until the next Saturday to have them fix my nails. They had no problem redoing the gel manicure all over again. I didn’t however like that they chose to pull off the nail polish rather than soaking it off… it wouldn’t have cost them more than 2 minutes (just giving me a bowl of acetone). I wasn’t in the mood to argue so I let it go.
A young girl named Anne is who redid my mani and she did an amazing job! I’m on day 18 with the mani and the only reason i want to take it off is due to the growth. I plan on getting another gel mani, hopefully if I pick another color/​brand it won’t last less than 1 day.
Aesthetic of the location — It looks like a lot was invested into this salon. However it’s obvious no one looks out to upkeep it. The stations aren’t clean. They do sanitize every tool they use, so that’s a plus.
