I provide representation, addressing your unique needs and circumstances, in the family law area: contested and uncontested divorce, separation agreements, child custody and visitation, child support, alimony, division and distribution of assets upon divorce, protective orders, guardianship, and adoption.

As an attorney, I work on your behalf in negotiations with the opposing party, in mediator facilitated meetings and, when all other options have been exhausted, in litigation.

I am trained as a collaborative divorce lawyer and am skilled at negotiating out of court settlements, while working with coaches, financial advisors and other team members, dedicated to helping the divorcing parties.

With my mediator hat on, I facilitate divorce settlements, memorializing them in the marital settlement agreements for the unrepresented, as well as represented parties.

Inspired by my own divorce experience, I founded Persin Law Group to provide insightful legal counsel on how to navigate the marriage break up and the intricacies of the family law.

I am very personable and have an international background, accumulated over the years that I lived in Croatia, U.K., Italy, South Africa, Turkey and U.S.

I earned Doctor of Law (J.D.) at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and am licensed to practice law in Maryland.

Prior to establishing my own law firm, I worked at the Maryland Office of Attorney General and the Women’s Legal Centre in South Africa.

I serve as a volunteer by giving legal advice and drafting legal documents at pro-​bono events, and, in the past, was a volunteer on the Communications Committee of New Hope Solebury School District and at the Parent Teacher Association. Currently, I am active with the National Association of Croatian Americans.
