Some of the best sushi I have had in the area. The Chinese is good too. Very interesting set up with a lot to choose from. I really like the fried rice and the California roll. Would go back

This is one of my favorite hang out spots! Been coming here for years. So delicious and everyone is absolutely progressional, kind and courteous. I also like the relaxed atmosphere because it’s a casual place with great and delicious food. I can always depend on this place for great Asian cuisine.

Worst sushi I’ve ever had in my life. Extremely overpriced. Got the sashimi dinner for $ 19. 3 pieces of salmon, 3 pieces of tuna(discolored), 2 pieces of white tuna and 1 random shrimp??? And they gave me cheap soy sauce packets. I’m never coming back here.

5 stars for great food, 3 stars off because of the slow service. With only one cashier for everything the lunch hour line was out the door. Its like being at a grocery store and standing in a long line while the front manager does nothing about it. People who chose their food from the ready made lunch specials had to wait in line to pay while their food got lukewarm. People waiting in line to place an order of something other than what was offered with the lunch special including sushi had to wait the 10+ minutes and then wait for the food. I got there at 12:10. After standing in line for 15 minutes I placed my order at 12:25. At 12:35 a lady told me that I should make sure the sushi staff got my order so I did that… didn’t think I had to remind them. The guy could barely read my order since the ticket he had in hand was wet. At 12:40 I went to check again and the guy picked up my order from a counter so it had been ready just never brought to me(so I had a table number because?). I scarfed down what I could in 7 minutes since I had to be back at work. If I wanted to wait 30 minutes to eat I would have gone to a full service restaurant.

Every time I come to Rockville, I always come here for dinner. I love the meaty steamed dumplings and the spicy beef noodle soup. The beef is very tender. I have come here many times throughout the year. Keep it up!

Food was ok. Nothing special. Had to wait almost 2 hours to get it which made the ok food not worth it.

Fast Service, Cook to Order meals that will cost you $$$… 2 orders cost me 32.00 including Steam Roll. Food should have been no more then $ 20.00 at my local restaurant in Fredericksburg. but my sister says this is North Bethesda not Rockville so they charge North Bethesda prices… This was for Carryout. Chicken & Snowpeas & Rice and Shrimp Bok Choy with very small shrimp too… would I use them again, only if I were desperate. Try Mayflower in Bethesda I fed a family of 4 for what I paid here for 2 people.

You walk in and you know exactly what you’re getting: «Bad» «Chinese» food. When I say«bad», I don’t mean horrible. I mean the kind that you sometimes crave when you feel fat, lazy, and general self-loathing. The same mood you’re in when you decide a medium meatlover’s pizza can be considered a meal for one. Also, when I say«Chinese» I mean Chinese and Japanese because this place all that. So yeah. Jack of all trades, master of none. Edit after Business Manager’s response:(2015.09.07) The business manager has corrected me by saying they do not serve Korean food. I thought I recalled that they had japchae on their menu and assumed they had other Korean food as well. That was my mistake. I apologize. However I stand by my rating and statement. If you want some Asian food with some fast food guilt, this is the place to go. Three stars. You want more stars? Cook your food in a way that doesn’t leave a oily greasy residue in your mouth. Don’t blame someone else for your mediocrity. TL;DR: Unilocal gives me nothing but a voice. I honestly believe you’re a 3⁄5.

Good food and fast service, I especially liked the sushi and the dumplings, many of the noodle shushes are also good but the soups are very plain but everything else is good

It’s been awhile since I visited this location and after this evening’s visit, I remember why. Once I reached home with my carry out order, I discovered that half my order was incorrect. I ordered shrimp in tomato sauce, yet I received a simple order of shrimp fried rice. The receipt correctly stated my order, but somehow the message wasn’t correctly relayed to the chef. What was received was ok, but not worth the price. Paid $ 16. for an Orange Chicken and frankly, it was just ok. The restaurant itself is clean, the people seemed nice and the order was prepared quickly, all things that are a plus. But the fact that half my order was incorrect, the food was mediocre and I payed about $ 30. for two entrees, I can’t give it more than 2 stars.

After all of these years, still great food. Another one of the places I loved years ago when I lived in Rockville, that I am returning too with my return. I spent a number of lunchtimes here, both in college and after. The chicken with dry bean curd is still great after all of these years. The dragon maki was perfect.

Let me say that I wrote my first review on this place 4 years ago on Unilocal. In that time, the quality has remained top notch but a lot more selection and the service and flavors have remained absolutely CONSISTENT, which is why my family continues to come back whenever we have a craving for sushi or Chinese. They have the best Hunan chicken in the area and sweet and sour chicken hands down. Be careful of the newbies writing these 1 star reviews based on one or two visits. I’ve eaten in the restaurant and ordered delivery over 50 times and can say it has ALWAYS been excellent service and quick delivery. One tip: When ordering delivery, call the restaurant directly for the fastest delivery, not one of these middlemen services like waiter on way, takeout taxi or grub hub.

Very casual place, expensive for Chinese food. A lot of people order food to go, but for $ 13 string beans and $ 6 tiny pieces of maki, you’d expect it to have the best taste and best plating. I suppose their deals during certain hours make this place worth it, but not so much during dinner. You walk in, order, pay, then sit down at a table. For such prices, I thought it would be more of a generic restaurant style service, such as getting seated first, order, food comes out, eat, then pay. Nope. We tried their string beans, chicken chow fun, salmon roll, and hot and sour soup. The soup wasn’t that great. I expected it to be hotter(both on the spice and the temperature), as it was quite watered down and lukewarm. Their string beans were pricey, but the flavor was there, though a bit soggy. I enjoyed the chow fun, but other people I was with said it was bland. The noodles were thicker than other thick noodles I’ve had. The salmon roll was expensive for what it was. It was sooooo tiny! Nothing special, but for $ 6? Ahh, regret. The people that work here are friendly, and they definitely have their regulars.

I ordered carry out at 7PM on a Friday night. I should have known better. Food arrived at 8:40PM. Tempura was cold and soggy and the batter seemed more suitable to a bar serving deep fried whatever than to tempura — no delicacy at all. Cold, soggy, inedible. $ 12 for naught. I ordered curry noodles — the noodles felt like cheap spaghetti, and the curry sauce was flavorless, though yellow. The peas and carrots in the curry looked like frozen vegetables in the style of the 1970s. This food felt like it was put together out of cans from a bad grocery store — no subtlety or flavor. Had I not been starving — hadn’t eaten all day — I would have let it mostly untouched with the tempura. I also ordered a little sushi. Haven’t had the nerve to try it – stuck it in the fridge in my hotel room. I was surprised at the high delivery fee — services like Seamless in NYC don’t charge that much — but i was hungry and too busy to go out. I would have had a better meal from Taco Bell, at 1⁄6 the price, in far less time. Positive note: the driver was nice enough. No idea if the 105 minute delay was his fault, the system’s fault, or the«restaurant’s» fault — they seem to be more of a food dispensary than a restaurant. I am extremely disappointed. A waste of time and money.

Favorite place for lunch! Food is consistently good and they are very accommodating to my dietary needs. Flora goes above and beyond to make my experience pleasant. Will continue to be my go to place for Chinese!

The food was decent and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. It has the feel of bigger operation but is small hole in the wall at the back of a shopping strip. As a mix of Japanese and Chinese dishes-it wasn’t outstanding on either, but was what you expect and at decent prices. It was not packed-but for a Wednesday night they seemed to have a lot of takeout orders.

Sorry all you haters, but this is my favorite place for California Rolls. They make them just how I like them; «shredded» fake crab meat and no cucumber. Yeah, I don’t like that crunch in my rolls. Plus, they include tobiko(those little round balls also known as flying fish roe). Best yet, their everyday lunch special(11:30−4:00) includes two rolls for $ 7.95. If you dine in, tea is free. I got my rolls to go, and I only wish they gave me two packs of soy sauce instead of one. I have no idea how long I’ve had my bottle of the stuff back at home.

(This is for the location near White Flint.) I feel bad. When I worked down the street a few years ago this place got a lot of my lunch money. And sometimes my dinner money, if I worked late enough. It was great, not too expensive Chinese and Japanese food in one small location and you always left with a doggie box because they didn’t skimp on their servings. And their lunch buffet … [Sigh] Clearly my prolonged absence has had a negative effect on the location, the quality of the food and the prices. So it is my fault that my last two meals there have been distinctly sub-par and cost way more than they should. Please forgive me! I feel just awful. [Sob!] OK, not really. I don’t know what happened here, but it is sad that it has gone downhill.(And the addition of Thai food to the menu does no one any favors.) If you’re very hungry and your other choices are McDonald’s or 7 – 11, of course, eat here. But otherwise, I can’t recommend it as being worth the money.
