I have to say I was very disappointed in the customer service. I went in 30 mins. early for my daughter’s appointment her appointment was set for 9am. I signed in at 8:25 but there was no one at the front desk. Another family came in 15 mins later than me mind you I’m still sitting here waiting in the to be initially checked in by the front desk and finally the receptionist comes to the front from who knows where and she checks in the other family before me and still did not acknowledge that I had signed in 15 mins earlier and was sitting in the lobby waiting for her to do her job which was to simply check me in, I mean I signed in on the check in sheet. I finally get up and ask her once she has just bypassed the check in sheet if I need to check in and she says oh no I was going to get to you I was just busy. When I finally get up to pay and sign my authorization sheet I see the family that came in after me has signed in under me but with the same check in time as me and yes you guessed it the family that came in after me gets to see the surgeon before my daughter because of the lack of customer service the receptionist has and attention she paid to the lobby and check in sheet. I was actually referred here from the Monarch Dental in Wylie and I will ask them to never refer me to this office again. I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service this place has. I hope my daughter does not have to have oral surgery again and if she done I would rather pay out of pocket than to deal with bad customer service, I mean I’m helping pay your salary so the least you can do is be attentive to the customers.

I called the office because they never sent me my new patient paperwork. The front desk employee was rude and unprofessional on the phone. I ended up canceling my appointment and going to another Monarch location. when you are spending a lot of money to get dental work done, you don’t want to have to put up with unprofessionalism and rude employees.

Alriiiight, I’ll be straight with ya: I suck at brushing my teeth. I always go in expecting to be trapped in that small room for near an hour while someone examines my teeth, probably judges my inability to brush my own teeth, scrapes at the roots repeatedly to remove build-up, brushes them for a lengthy amount of time, rinses my mouth out, flosses and then forces me to gargle some mouthwash or something. I would probably have tasted blood a few times, which I take as a clear sign of how much I suck at good dental hygiene – and that whoever cleaned my teeth had done a bloody thorough job. Then, they’d tell me if they found cavities and the like, and would ask if I was flossing regularly or brushing my teeth four times a day. I would give a vague«yes of course butnotreallyIknowyoucantellI’mlyingbythestateofmyteeth» and that would be that. That’s exactly the top notch work Amy does. She knows what she’s doing, and I can tell she likes her work by her thorough examination and subsequent cleaning of my teeth. My teeth always feel unnaturally clean after her work, and it makes me feel like the visit was damn well worth it. And taking an hour? That means she takes her time to make sure your pearls are squeaky clean and in good condition. Shows she care about her work. I always get admonished for neglecting certain routines of my dental hygiene, and no matter how much I lie about how good I am, she can always see right through me. Good dentist, best dentist. Unfortunately, I did not get Amy this time. I got some guy named Brandon. After waiting for 45 minutes even though I arrived 10 minutes early, I got the guy who does a half-assed job of cleaning your teeth. I can forgive the wait, Spring Break is a busy week for that sort of thing after all. But really, that was not worth the visit. The man introduced himself, then kept walking in and out asking for where an instrument was. Finally, we got to the teeth cleaning part. He barely took a minute to look at the state of my teeth – no tapping or anything, then just scraped the roots of my teeth here and there before he went ahead and started brushing my teeth. Couldn’t even tell that I had a cavity. That took what…3−5 minutes at most? Then he flossed – barely reaching to my gums – and then started rinsing – buuut ran out of water, had to get that replaced and then rinsed some more before he saw me out. Oh, and he told me I was ~brushing well, just needed to brush more in the back~. LMAO, good joke, bro. Didn’t even catch that I hadn’t flossed in 5 months. I’ve been neglecting brushing my teeth a few times too. My teeth weren’t even bleeding by the end of this visit. All he did was just everything I could’ve done at home. Worthless visit. The entire procedure took 10 minutes at most? After waiting 45 minutes? HA. That was a quick job just to get his day’s pay. If you go, I recommend requesting Amy. Brandon is not worth the money he’s getting.
