History

Established in 2013.

While relatively new to the Dallas area, the MusicHead DJs core staff have over 30 years experience providing DJ service to clubs and mobile shows. Our team has played events in Korea, Germany, Wisconsin, and now here in Texas. We have hosted weddings, birthday and anniversary parties, New Year’s Eve and Christmas parties, Proms, PTA fundraisers, pool parties, a crawfish boil, and even a few wet t-​shirt contests!

As a teenager, Kevin got his first taste of being in the spotlight as a DJ when his Boy Scout Troop held a benefit dance and some of the older scouts made the mistake of showing him how to set up a PA system, play and mix music, and handed him the microphone a couple of times.

In High School, Kevin and his best friend Mark DJ’d all of the dances after Friday night basketball and football games. Student organizations would check with Mark and Kevin for availability before they would get approval for the dance from school administration!

In college, Kevin DJ’d clubs, put on mobile shows, and even did a short stint in radio!

Kevin and his family relocated to the Dallas area in 2011 after a 21 year career in the Army, which included three combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. His military decorations include three bronze star medals, the air medal, and a legion of merit.
