Home of THE SLOWEST Starbucks ever! These baristas look and act miserable. Don’t stop here if you’re in a rush, they’ll only make you late

I was in Rockwall visiting a friend and I stopped here for gas. It’s just a regular truck stop. Although a very pricey one. Nothing out of the ordinary. It’s in a high traffic area. Lots of traffic and police.

Pretty basic TA, smaller than most because of there not being a Country Pride here, but there’s a Burger King and a Starbucks. I’d personally rather have a Dunkin Donuts, and not one of those crappy self serve ones, but that’s the northerner in me speaking. Anyway, it’s got a decent sized truck lot, but lots of reserved parking. Trust me, you’ll wanna reserve a spot if you plan on getting here after 6−7PM. $ 13 the day of or $ 11 24 hours in advance, if you know your schedule. There’s quite a bit within walking distance, restaurants and stores, so you won’t be bored. Bathrooms aren’t terrible, but they’re not the cleanest either. Just don’t expect too much and you’ll be fine.

This place is fairly large. It is located right off of I-​30 so it’s easy to get to however getting out of the parking lot is a royal pain. It’s on the corner of one of the busiest intersections. I like the fact that it has a starbucks inside so I can get gas and a coffee it’s just not worth the headache of trying to get out of the parking lot. I usually will bypass this stop and go somewhere a little less crowded and more convenient to get in and out of.

Convenient location on I-​30 but OFTEN has non working pumps. I hate using this station. Exxon should pull their license. EZ on/​off I-​30 for Eastbond ONLY. Westbound exit okay but getting back onto west I-​30 is extremely difficult and dangerous trying to cross 4 lanes of feeder. Avoid it if you can.

As a truck driver it hard for us to just pull up to a Starbucks where we want, but not here! Lol!
