We stopped here when we were in the down river area and we loved it! I had a turkey club and it was very good and my fiancée had eggs and hash browns and bacon and he really enjoyed his meal as well! great service and they always kept our coffee and water filled! which I really appreciate! would def go back here!

What can you say about a diner? Well, for starters we are«foodies», but having moved to Gibraltar we find time and again that we need to eat out local. The thought of eating at a diner is something that we rarely considered before we moved. Let me first start by saying the staff is always courteous and accommodating. The food on the menu is what you would expect from a diner, HOWEVER, don’t let that deter you. Sometimes you want a good home cooked meal but do not want to do it yourself. It’s not fancy, it’s like mom makes it… there is love in it. You can rest assured that when you come here they will not disappoint. I particularly like the breakfast… french toast with syrup=awesome…blueberry pancakes=I will never spend the time to cook them myself again-excellent…breakfast burrito=way beyond good, and for the price it’s a steal… corned beef and hash=fresh, and always spot on. Just about everything on their menu is good and the portions you get are above average. The soups are excellent… chicken lemon rice… dill pickle soup on Polish night… so good! We love it, and though we still pass it by sometimes for fancy chefs and small plates… this is a real gem, comfort food that should be enjoyed the same.

I’ve been in here twice in recent weeks, it’s great little place to enjoy a quiet atmosphere with great food prices. I’ve had a couple types of soup, chicken pita and other sides when I was here, it was all average to above average. Nothing bad to speak of, but not the best I’ve had from any of it either. The place is relatively small, and the customers seem to mostly be regulars, as they entire wait staff and customers were on first name basis with each other. On one of my stops, one of the waitresses was speaking with her boyfriend/husband about things while wrapping up her shift. I say that, not as a bad thing, but to show that she was able to do that and still be attentive to her customers. The added conversation allowed for me and my family to feel as if we were among friends and not just being waited on. It added a homely feel to the atmosphere. The prices are amazing. I spent less than $ 9 on a meal my first time in when I was alone and was filled with food. The second time I was in I had family with me, but the bill was still affordable and food was generous portions. I’ll definitely stop back in again.

Love their Hawaiian Omelet. Average diner scenery. could use a touch in the remodeling department but, otherwise rarely good food and pricing.

This was a good restaurant when it used to be the mirage. New owners cheapened the quanity and quality of the food. I ordered a western omelette and asked to substitute swiss for american cheese and was charged more for it without being told. They also won’t offer free dessert with your meal unless asked like previous owner did. Also you were given soup and sslad at the mirage. Here its one or the other.
