Thaddeus S Michalski, DMD

Absolute best dentist and dental office that I have ever been to (and I have been to ~6 in the past 10 years alone). The facilities and equipment are state-​of-​the-​art, the initial exam is comprehensive and educational, the staff are all friendly, competent and professional, and Dr. Michalski is an amazing, top-​notch dentist. Some details (on my personal experience):
— Appointments have run just about on-​schedule so far, usually either getting in right at my scheduled time or just ~5−10 minutes after that time.
— The initial exam is very thorough and Dr. Michalski and his staff do a great job with showing you the results (x-​rays etc.) and explaining things to you very patiently, professionally and with as much technical detail as you are willing to tolerate!
— The cleaning that I received was the best cleaning I have ever had. They used a combination of the water-​pik type method to remove plaque buildup with the traditional metal hook scraping and brushing/​flossing for the cleaning. Along the way, I received very helpful tips from the hygienist regarding brushing and flossing techniques (I found out what I had been doing wrong w/​my flossing all this time! Could have saved on a lot of plaque buildup over the years…)
— My recent fillings were quick and painless, and the least stressful that I have ever had. They have TVs for you to watch during your cleanings, fillings etc. and this helped to distract me from the buzz of the drill during the procedure. Application of the novacaine was barely felt and correctly administered, and the fillings were done flawlessly and with virtually no discomfort.
— During cleanings, fillings etc. the staff and Dr. Michalski always periodically asked how I was doing and if I needed anything (rinse etc.) — must more often than any other previous dentist I have been to, and this was appreciated.
— During diagnosis of my TMJ issue, Dr. Michalski’s philosophy on overall dental treatment came through, with his «less drillings and surgical work the better» approach — with my minor condition, diagnosed after a very thorough and informative TMJ exam, he fitted a night guard for me.
— His overall approach of only filling cavities that really need to be filled and refraining from any tooth-​sanding, surgery etc. for TMJ are very sound and patient-​oriented (as opposed to raking in the $$$-oriented).
In summary, I 100% recommend Dr. Michalski’s office for your dental and TMJ needs. I would rate their office and his skill as world-​class, and highly encourage you to find out for yourself.
