Bagels are so so. Too many cops sitting there all the time…

As a former city kid I’ve had my share of bagels from NYC to Long Island. The bagels are average for a Long Island bagel place but when you put Brooklyn in your name you better put up or shut up. They had a hard time making an egg cream which should be second nature. Sorry guys but you might need to drop Brooklyn from your name. Kind of reminds me when you go outside the state and someone claims NY Pizza.

My fiancé & I love visiting Brooklyn Bagels any time we’re in Rocky Point. They have a huge variety of fresh bagels & cream cheese, sweet & salty kinds, & make yummy lunch sandwiches too(we’ve only tried lunch once). The staff are really nice & fun to chat with. We both recommend & bring friends to this place any chance we get.

I just had the worst egg sandwich of my life. It took a long time for them to make it. The eggs were grossly overcooked and 1 slice of cheese is a joke. I would never go back here. I would buy an egg sandwich at the 7 – 11 across the street and microwave it before I went back here.

I come here a few times a week for an egg sandwich on their delicious bagels. Great service, delicious food, and reasonable prices. Best local spot around without a doubt! Looks like some jealous competitors made the false negative reviews…

We order 18 whole grain bagels every 10 days from here because they are easily the best tasting bagels we have ever eaten. Service is always great and the price is right. Not sure why the other two reviewers were so negative. When we have visitors we give them Brooklyn bagels and they love them. 100% 5 star bagels!

One of the worst bagels cafes I’ve ever been to. The bagels just look sad and lonely like they’ve been sitting out for hours. The pumpkin bagel was dyed neon orange and tasted nothing like pumpkin. It was also stale. Bagels here are also smaller than most places. Brooklyn would be ashamed to know this place is operating under it’s name.

I tried but they seem to go out of their way to not get your order correct. Only thing positive is the location(for me traveling west on 25A) but it’s worth the time to head caddy corner to the bagel place in the Kohl’s shopping center… Is it still Grand Central Bagels?
