Soothe Massage and Wellness

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a couple’s massage here and had a nice experience. The place was really clean and had a comfortable room to relax in before your massage with complimentary tea and water. This was a nice touch to get you in the calming and relaxed mood. The massages were very good the only thing I would change would be the lighting in the room because even with the blinds closed it was a bit too bright. However, the calming music was great and there were no outside noises to be heard which was a plus.
I liked the use of the hot towel and option of heating the massage table. Overall, I had a positive experience. I just have to add that when I checked out at the front desk I told the woman working that I checked in on Unilocal and it said I had a $ 5 coupon to use towards my services. $ 5 isn’t much when the total is $ 140 but I thought why not. She said she didn’t know anything about it and didn’t let me use is. Why would you advertise this on Unilocal but not know about it or honor it? Just a heads up!

I tried this place because it’s not a chain and it is close to my house. I am very glad I did. At my first appointment the therapist, Sabrina, took time to find out what my needs were and she still gave me a full hour massage. They gave me the first time customer discount even though I forgot to ask for it.
I felt so good after my first massage that I scheduled another for the following weekend to get the rest of my kinks out. Sabrina relaxed muscles I did not even know I had! I went back for a more relaxing, less deep tissue, massage right before a trip and it was also wonderful. I was so relaxed when I left.
They do not use a bunch of gimmicky expensive products. The focus is on the massage. Sabrina explains everything and is very knowledgeable and skilled.
They have a monthly package deal. I do not get massages that often, but it would be great for someone who does. And there was no pressure to sign up or buy anything.
The rooms are quiet and the massage tables are comfortable. The atmosphere is relaxing.

I love Soothe and I love the way I feel when I leave Soothe. I have a couple of massage therapist favorites here! The receptionists are friendly on the phone for scheduling appointments and very welcoming upon arrival. The atmosphere is nice but not «foo foo», which is fine with me.

Scheduled a 90 minute couples massage, only received 60 (somewhat less, actually) due to a booking error.

This was my first time experiencing a professional full body massage. I’ve had plenty of professional chair massages but nothing holds a match to this place. I am very picky and particular about the service I expect so I was very nervous until I arrived. Since it was a birthday surprise for my boyfriends birthday I wanted it to be perfect since we have both been suffering from back pain. Any who, the staff was exceptionally nice and catered to our every need. I had Jess who was amazing and hit every knot and pressure point that I didn’t even realize was there prior to my visit. My boyfriend had Katie and he thought she was amazing also. During the massage they make sure you are very comfortable and give you tips on how to perform tricks at home to hold you over until your next massage. Also, my skin is overly SENSITIVE. I was so scared that I would leave all broken out. However, they use a mild unscented goats milk creamy lotion that is so amazing that I actually found their supplier (which is local) and bought tons of good products from.
Bottom line: You won’t be disappointed. I searched plenty of places until I booked an appointment here. I can honestly say I will never go anywhere else as long ad Katie and Jess continue to give a great couples massage.

I’ve been to Soothe several times with very good results. I was excited to find a place that has weekend hours, and every time I’ve gone I’ve picked up the phone on a Sunday morning and made an appointment for the same day. Consequently, I’ve ended up with three different massage therapists, but the experience has been consistently good. I love deep tissue massages, and this place gets the definition of that. I expect to suffer a little during and feel much better afterward, but they do adjust their level of pressure to what you’re comfortable with.

My massage was unusual. I’ve had a lot of deep tissue massages, but never one this excruciatingly painful. In his defense I never complained that the pressure was too hard, and he did ask me to let him know if it was too much but I just took it in stride. My therapist spent a great deal of time and care discussing my needs. He was knowledgeable and passionate about his work, however, in the end I found the experience very painful and not at all relaxing. It just was not what I expected. Additionally, I’m alarmed to have discovered bruises on my back from where he pressed. It was just a bit much for my taste.

Amazing! I have been having hip and back pain for over a year. After scheduling 2 regular massages and a Thai Yoga Massage with Elissa, I feel awesome!!! I am finally able to run again with out pain, and I owe it all to her!

And we have a winner! Here’s why. This place specializes in only massages. They are open from 9am-​9pm during the week and have weekend hours too. They offer all different types of massages. And they are affordable.
This place used to be a «Massage Envy» but recently got turned into Soothe. I am not sure if Soothe is now taking over or if this particular Massage Envy closed for whatever reason. In either case, they offer the same great $ 39 rate for a first-​time hour-​long massage. That’s a really good deal. Because…

…although this SEEMS like it could be the McDonald’s of spas, it doesn’t feel like that on the inside. Everything is very subdued and classy, like a real spa. There’s a small but comfortable room with magazines, nice chairs, and a water cooler while you wait (they have lemon water as an option as well). It was not busy at all when I went, but they have so many rooms and massotherapists that I don’t think it would be bad at all as long as you had an appointment.
Unlike another review I recently wrote about a prenatal massage gone wrong, my masseuse at Soothe (named Desi) REALLY knew what she was doing. She has a contoured pillow that fit my humongous belly in while I lay on my side, and additional wedges to keep one leg up to take pressure off the lower back. The room was the perfect temperature and I had the option of a heated table (which I declined). We had a bit of a discussion beforehand about what my needs were for my visit and what she generally does for a pregnant woman, including the areas/​techniques she had to avoid. I was very grateful for this, because it gave me peace of mind right away so that for the whole hour, I could just relax!
The music was just what I expected — some pan-​flute here, some classical muzak there. It sounded like a cross between what comes out of a little girl’s jewelry box, and what you might hear in a department store elevator during the holidays. I was satisfied.
And boy, was I relaxed! After it was over, Desi made sure I had some water on my way out too — she had it waiting for me when I came out of the room. This was a great massage, and a GREAT use of 40 bucks. I plan to come again.
