Love Steve Landers Toyota of LR Chris Wilcher has sold me 2 Toyota Tundras and even had the second delivered to me in Roger’s Arkansas after I moved up here but still wanted to buy from him. Both times everything went just as promised and they are very fair when it comes to trade in values too. If you live in Arkansas and choose to buy from any other Toyota Dealer you’re simply paying too much! Again Chris was excellent and I’m a customer of his for life! Thanks again and you have a great staff there and by the way Jamie in finance was great too when I needed a copy of the buyer’s order he was prompt and had it emailed to me in just minutes. Great place to buy and service your investment.

Called Brandon in service, and told him I needed brakes. He orders new front and rear brakes from Lexus, and I came in. After about an hour, he let me know the brakes were fine, and that the squeaking I heard was due to some debris caught up and a shim kit. Long story short, I came in stating I needed new brakes, and was ready to pay, and they said I didn’t need it.
This is the type of service and honesty that makes someone a lifetime customer. Thank you Brandon, I will always service my car with you.

Don’t ever trust the multi point inspection list! They said everything was fine on the van I purchased but the wheel bearings were bad, steering rack and pinion was leaking and the serpentine belt was worn badly. All of these were «checked» ok in the list! I hope someone from Toyota corporate sees this because THERE IS NOT A TRUSTWORTHY TOYOTA SERVICE DEPARTMENT IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS!!! (Fort smith or Fayetteville area) in case you don’t know there are plenty of other repair shops that are qualified to do warranty and certified repair work on a Toyota. You aren’t obligated to go to the dealer. Just ask the repair shop.

This dealership really deserves negative stars, but since that or 0 is not an option, one will have to do.
I formally sold for Toyota/​Scion/​Lexus in the Chicagoland area about 10 years ago. This dealership is a disgrace to the Toyota product and company in general.
First, my parents took in their Camry for some recall work (airbag issue, nothing major) and the change in the center console was stolen. The dealerships response was to give my parents a $ 5 credit towards their next service. As if they want to trust their service department with their vehicle again.
Despite this, my father needed a new SUV and being loyal to the Toyota product, he wanted to look at a used 4Runner located at the dealership. In fact, this was the vehicle he preferred to buy of the two we were going to see. A young sales person greeted us on the lot and the sales manager, Richard Harris, quickly came out after to greet us. I was up front with Richard that I previously worked at a Toyota Dealer and while talking to him, my family and I noticed that 3 of the vehicles front and center on their used car line had MAJOR flaws. 2 used 4Runners had cracked windshields (illegal to drive off the lot). A third 4Runner had a terrible paint job on the rear quarter panel at the gas tank. Their used car line is that of a 2^nd rate, under handed, sleazy used car lot that will also push you into a double digit interest rate loan.
When explaining the issues I had with the 3 4Runners noted above to Richard, he said he was going to see if they had anything in the back from the weekend they could show us. At this point HE DISAPPEARED!!! He not only was clearly weak for taking off and not coming back out, but also spineless because he left the very young, wet behind the ears salesperson out front with us to attempt to salvage a business relationship!
Needless to say, I called a second dealer just a few minutes down the road and my parents purchased the first vehicle they looked at. Oh, and incase someone from that dealership is reading this: they spent that extra $ 3K I told your salesperson they were willing to spend!

I’m a Toyota fan. The car speak for itself because Toyota makes awesome cars!
Now about this dealership…
My husband went to the dealership Saturday and test drove some cars. He inquired more about his favorite one. He came home and got me and we went back there around 4:30pm (they close at 5pm). Chris was helping my husband before and he helped us throughout the process. We negotiated with them on a few things, such as price and car warranty. They do a 180 point check on the cars to make sure nothing that they sell is a lemon — which is reassuring. However, the price they gave us vs. the price it was posted for on autotrader were different. They gave us a higher price. With some negotiating (as well as saying we were leaving) we got it down below that price since we felt like they were trying to cheat us from the original price. Chris was very nice and helpful throughout the whole process.
We were there for a few hours — which seems to be my normal experience at dealerships buying a car… can take forever sometimes! haha. We didn’t leave with the car because we weren’t able to get a hold of our insurance company to add this car on our policy — and they don’t let you leave without insurance. So, we came back today (Monday) to finish it. We got all the paperwork down on Saturday (Except insurance) so that Monday would be easy.
So… Monday comes and we go right work and the process was pretty smooth in closing the deal.
I recommend Toyotas and I’d recommend this place. We are happy with our purchase and hopefully it stays that way haha.
The reason it is not a 5 star is because we had to negotiate so much just to get it to the price THEY had up on the website (autotrader). Also, the price on the 4runner on the lot said a higher price than the stated price online. So…
LESSON LEARNED: ALWAYS — look up the car online.

I have only used the service depart. They must be on commission & there are no set prices. Example… It was time for a basic scheduled service… an older service guy said it was $ 149. I said, «Isn’t this basically just an oil change & tire rotation?» He then said, «Ok, $ 49.» The work was done & apparently he forgot what he quoted as the invoice he handed me was for $ 39.
If you MUST go… know in advance whats reasonable & negotiate. Avoid the long ponytail guy, you’ll do better with the older guy.
Every single time they have pulled some crap on me. The last time… my car start making loud noises one evening. I was the first one there when they opened in the a.m. I sat there for 3 hrs. then ponytail says he wants a $ 300 diagnoses fee before they would look at my car (what were they doing for the last 3 hrs) and it wouldnt be applied toward repairs. He said, «Everybody has diagnoses fees, that’s the way it is these days.» I said I wasn’t buying it, I wasn’t about to pay $ 300. He said, «suit yourself, but your car isn’t safe to drive so what alternative do you have?» «You just said nobodies looked at it… and now it’s not safe to drive! » So… Fayetteville Toyota fixed my car… NO diagnoses fees… and NO repair fees. The problem was a lower engine cover lost a couple bolds, they secured it with a couple cable ties. So minor they didn’t even bother charging me. If I stayed at Rogers Toyota no doubt they would’ve found a few hundred in repairs in addition to the «diagnoses fee».
Now Toyota Fayetteville is fabulous… I’ve had only the absolute best experiences there.

I recently tried to purchase a 2010 Highlander from them and eventually walked out. They seemed to place no value on my time. It should not take 8 hours of my time to purchase a new vehicle. They gave me a fair price on my trade, but they played the four-​square game and tried to fool me into a deal. They originally put down 8.9% financing and the sales numbers. They asked me what it would take for me to buy a car today and I told them plainly and signed my intentions. They did not meet it and I walked away. They followed me out to my car saying we were only a short amount away from each other. I left and they called me promptly. They said they would give me a better deal and I proceeded to go back to the dealership. They had a better deal, but still not what I said I would agree to. They gave me another price and it was still not the number I would agree to. I told them that we were done and started to walk out again. They chased me to the door and the sales mgr said he would give me my price. Why can’t they do that the first time? When I went back to sign papers and pick up the vehicle, I asked that my paperwork be ready for me and my wife. They said it would be. When we arrived, the paperwork was not done and they had changed the financing from 8.9% to 0%. When I confronted them on this, they would not answer. I told the finance mgr my time was valuable to me and my wife and told him no deal. We walked out and we will never go back to purchase a vehicle, again. The service department is great and we WILL continue to use them for my wife’s Camry. I would like to give them one star, but I will give them two based on their service department, not sales. They have an F rating from the BBB and have had a civil penalty for false advertising with the state of Arkansas.
