Holistic Alternatives Acupuncture

After suffering migraine after migraine, increasing in episode from four times a year to every other day, I went to my Doctor at Kaiser who felt that I should have a CT scan. After reading about all the associated risks, I decided to decline at least until I had exhausted all other alternatives.
I also did not want to take any serious medication, but the migraines were getting so bad that I was having to wear sunglasses inside the house.
A friend recommended that I try acupuncture, and specifically Dr. Loden, all the way in Palos Verdes. This is a long drive for me, but a friends recommendation is worth a lot to me so I decided to give it a go.
The upshot? Dr Loden spent a good 45 minutes talking with me about my condition, what triggered it, when it started. She also asked a lot of other questions, about my life, my daily stresses, my diet…
Dr Loden is such an empathetic listener that I could open up easily. I felt cared for.
When I had the actual acupuncture, I didn’t feel a thing. except sometimes a wonderful electric-​like feeling would happen.
I have since had a course of treatment, and a month later I have not had a single migraine. I can be in bright sunshine with no sunglasses. The triggers for my migraines; sunlight from a mirror, for example, just don’t do anything anymore.
So I am grateful. Very grateful. I would recommend Dr Loden in a heartbeat.

I can to Christina hoping for some sinus allergy relief and she ended up resolving a host of other issues I never imagined would be treatable through acupuncture. Her schedule is flexible and you can make appointments over the phone and on line at her website. Her office is clean, peaceful, and always has relaxing music playing. Also, she accepts health insurance.
