Dr. Hannauer does not notify her patients/​their parents of changes to her billing policies. She charges $ 400 for 10 minutes and is not in network for any insurance providers.

Dr. Hannauer is an AMAZING Pediatric Neurologist. We’ve gotten amazing results with our High Functioning Austistic child. However, her office staff leaves much to be desired. When you call to make an appt., they cannot give you one; it’s always a 2 – 3 month wait list. even when you’re a current patient. They cancel on you, don’t return phone calls, no follow ups when you leave a message. When you finally get a hold of them, the receptionist seems flustered and placating. What Dr. Sharifi-​Hannauer needs is a competent office manager and an intelligent receptionist. If you were a potential new patient and your first impression of Dr. Hannauer was her front office staff, you’d walk out.
Dr. Hannauer is a wonderful pediatric neurologist and is well worth seeing. It’s unfortunate that her office staff may lose her patients. They are the ones that make Dr. Hannauer only get 2 stars.
