Original art by area artists — paintings, ceramics, fused glass & metal sculpture, turned wood, fused and blown glass, art-​to-​wear clothing, assemblage, bronze sculpture, jewelry and cards.

Art rental, gift certificates, free gift wrap, twice yearly runway shows of wearable art, (the next on May 2, 2015) an 8 to 10 –Studio Tour in the fall, artist-​staffed galleries. Next Studios Tour — September 26 and 27, 2015. Tickets available on-​line! Artists available for custom work — portraits of people, pets, homes or favorite views. New artists are juried in throughout the year.

History

Established in 1986.

Started as a professional artist’s cooperative under the umbrella of Palos Verdes Art Center, a non-​profit community art center on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. It began with one location and 50 artists and has grown to 70 — 80 artists and two locations. There is an ongoing jury for new artists, find information and application on our website. Our Promenade location is a showcasing gallery, featuring 3 artists for six weeks at a time, along with an Annex group and small-​works show, two half-​member summer group exhibitions, and an every-​member seven week holiday exhibit. Our gift gallery is located at the Art Center.

Meet the Manager

Manager

A founding member of the gallery with a background in business, writing, photography and graphics, I coordinate, orchestrate and present throughout all aspects of the gallery and am commentator for our Signatures runway shows, the next is scheduled for Saturday; May 2, 2015 call gallery for tickets six weeks prior to event. All members contribute to the operation of our business. I am an art-​to-​wear curator and have curated Wearable Expressions for the Palos Verdes Art Center (the date for the next is not yet scheduled) and exhibitions at both LAX and Ontario airports.
