Was very impressed for my first time here. Very friendly server. My Lox and cream cheese bagel was delicious. I bought bagel bones for my dogs and they devoured them. Looking to come here often as I am moving to Rolling Meadows.

I love this location! Since the palatine one closed, this is my go to for bagels. Nothing beats a toasted cheddar bacon bagel.

Italian panini and chicken rice soup for lunch. Served fast, hot and delicious as always. Crowded on Fridays at lunch, but still fast service!

Always a go-to spot for bagels when you’re in the suburbs of Chicago. Everything is made fresh! I’ve been coming to this location since I was a little kid and enjoyed watching them make the bagels through the glass into the kitchen. Big thrill for me! My normal order is a turkey club bagel sandwich on cheddar herb with swiss cheese added. It never disappoints! Definitely recommended if you’re near the burbs and have a bagel craving. I always miss it now that I’ve moved!

I used to make weekend trips to the Great American Bagel in Palatine, IL. Unfortunately they closed down about a year ago. Since then I have been searching for another one close to where I live & have had to settle for a few other places with terrible bagels & sandwiches. Then one day I remembered about this location. I really enjoy their lox & bagel sandwich. Each sandwich has an abundance of salmon & it is thinly sliced just the way I like it. I also get the everything bagel & it is pretty good as well. They have a pretty large variety of cream cheeses & bagels here. I really like the Jalapeño bagel & the salsa cream cheese. These two selections go very well if you like spicy sandwiches. The only reason I am not giving this establishment five stars is because sometimes when they are making my lox & bagel sandwich I notice that the jar they get the salmon from has discolored salmon in it. They have never put any of the discolored salmon on my sandwich but I wonder why it is in the jar to begin with. Other than that this place is big & have plenty of tables to sit at. The staff here is pretty nice & the service is pretty quick. I have been h ere multiple times & I plan on eating here again.

These bagels are the best. I go at least once a week! They taste fresh and are always satisfying. I brought a box of bagels with boxes of coffee to my staff, and they absolutely loved it. There occasionally is a small line, but it goes quickly. Satisfied!

This place is nasty. I haven’t been there in years and I certainly won’t be going back again after today. The owners are very cheap and the place is understaffed. These people have no idea what customer services. And don’t look up at the ceiling cuz you’ll probably find it. Many of the ceiling tiles are brown because of water damage. The people behind the counter do not know what they’re doing and they are very cheap and unfriendly. It’s just this one location that is a problem. I have been to at least four or five other locations and my experience was much better.

Bagel sandwich I just are kinda sucked. It was a hummus and veggie, and it was pretty much a gob of Athenos hummus , wet lettuce, gardinera, tomato. All of this made the bagel soggy. Sad. I got the«super» bagel too, so it was almost 8 bucks. Feeling ripped off is a sucky feeling. Never again

I was so excited when I saw that there was an A Great American bagel shop near my home and it opened at 6 am. So I thought I would try it this morning and when I walked in there were no bagels in their cases and no one came to the front of the store. I waited 5 min and left. I saw them walk into the store as I pulled up but wonder if they were just starting to make bagels at 6? So I went out of my way to another location that actually where fully stocked and ready to serve the public. If you’re an early riser don’t go to this location.

The bagels are always warm and I like the cream cheeses. Also, it’s around the same cost as Dunkin’ Doughnuts. Edit: I spent about $ 10 buying 6 bagels and a small tub of cream cheese for the office. The general consensus was that the bagels kicked ass.

OmNomNom. Back in my earlier high school days(c 1997), believe it or not, we would take regular trips to GAB in P.E. class.(Pretty satisfying way to get a workout in!) I stopped in for a healthier lunch option at 2:45, 15 minutes before closing time. I was the only patron and the dude behind the counter seemed a bit frazzled.(I’m sure having a last-minute customer doesn’t help things much.) Still, he had my toasted turkey + bacon sandwich ready to go in record time! I was in and out in a few minutes. Needless to say, my tummy is quite satisfied, and I’m left wondering why I let 16 years lapse between visits! I’ll be sure to make more stops when I’m in the old ‘hood.

If you like bagels than this is the place to go! They make their bagels fresh everyday and have an awesome collection of flavors to choose from. If you have young ones, they might enjoy seeing through the bakery window when they are shaping the bagels! I’m in my 30’s and thought it was neat, haha! They offer a basic deli fare — bagel sandwiches with chips and a soda but they are delicious. I love the turkey BLT on an onion bagel! Give it a try if you’re ever in the mod for something light and delicious!
